Hmmm.....Where is this log found? Not in Domoticz itself, in the 'log-tab'?

Interesting plugin, especially for those of us living in The Netherlands!

I installed it onto my R-Pi, following the steps in the Wiki article. Rebooted the Pi, and added the plugin on the hardware page.
After that several devices showed up, and I was happy. Waiting for some history to build up.

Later that night I noticed Domoticz no longer reacted to pir sensors (lights stayed out).
Looked online: no response in the browser.
Logged on to the R-Pi and looked at Domoticz status: all looks OK.
Restarted Domoticz, same result. Rebooted the Pi: no change.

Since I can't live without Domoticz these days, decided to stop Domoticz, and remove the plugin from the plugins directory.
Started Domoticz up again, and all was OK again.... removed Buienradar from the HW page.

Since I see many happy users on this thread, I am wondering what could have gone wrong...

Yes. Didn't even notice that :) I thought it was on by default.

My Buienradar keeps crashing since the latest update of the plugin:

I am on Domoticz version 3.8342

In order to get buienradar working I need to reboot the domoticz server (UDOO QUAD) and it will work for 1 or 2 days...

This is actually all the data that is in the log. The rest is from LUA and dzVents scripts....

I fixed it in a ugly way by just rebooting my server every 24 hours

I suddenly have the same problem on the latest stable v3.8153
I tracked the error in the log file

Code: Select all

2017-11-08 09:23:37.624 (Buienradar) Initialized version 2.0, author 'ffes'
2017-11-08 09:23:37.677 Error: Domoticz received fatal signal 11 !...

Not sure if this it but I have disabled the plugin for now to see if Domoticz doesn't crash anymore.

Latest stable and Buienradar stopped working.
“Error: Buienradar hardware (19) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly”

I’ve set the log to True, but nothing in the log except the “Error: Buienradar hardware (19) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly”

Not sure why that is even possible, but after reinstalling Ger3rard's script domoticz is not working anymore. ;(

Hi all,

I'm experiencing the same problems as mentioned above; once the plugin is installed, Domoticz stopped working. Simple removal of the plugin and Domoticz is running again. I understand this is all voluntary work (keep up the great work!), but maybe G3rard can post an update about this problem?!

I think there is something else wrong, I found the same behaviour with other python-based plugins.

Hi all, I am running the buienradar script on Domoticz v3.8153 without any problems.
I have an uptime now of 16 days and not any error messages for all of thePython scripts running. In the past I saw some errors on Pi's with the Python script, but as I am running on Ubuntu server I can't simulate the errors.

But I don't think the issues have to do with this script.
I saw some changes on the Python framework in the beta versions, so maybe who currently has errors can upgrade and see if it works.

Still the same problem with version Domoticz V3.8771 and one or more active plugins.

I use buienradar, homewizard, NUT_UPS and Sonos. If I make any or all of these plugins active, domoticz crashes with:

2017-12-06 08:38:18.481 PluginSystem: Entering work loop.
2017-12-06 08:38:18.650 Error: Domoticz received fatal signal 11 !...

on my RPI3 latest working Beta is domoticz.v3.8627
Raspberry (debian stretch via berryboot on Synology DS916+) , Domoticz (almost) latest Beta, RFLink, RFXtrx433e, P1, Youless, Harmony, Hue, Yeelight, Xiaomi, HomeWizard, Zwave , dzVents 2.4.n, Amazon echo
