Boiler, HRT4 ASR-ZW, aka SSR303-Controller

Post by greenisnews » Saturday 28 October 2017 22:19

Dear All,

Please could you help.

Thank you.

Version: 3.8153
Platform: Win and Linux
Plugin/Hardware: ZStick-Gen5_ZW090-C
Description:
I can turn the controller "HRT4 ASR-ZW, aka SSR303" on and off in Domoticz, etc.

The problem: Domoticz software, what is the current state of the on/off switch in controller "HRT4 ASR-ZW, aka SSR303"?
Am I meant to be able to read this from the controller "HRT4 ASR-ZW, aka SSR303"?

Example. if you manually walk to the controller and press the button to turn the boiler on or off, you cannot see the correct state in Domoticz.
You can fix this by turning off or on in Domoticz.
Still if a person click the button with human fingers, I do not know if the current state is on/off on in controller "HRT4 ASR-ZW, aka SSR303".

In Domoticz v3.8153, I can see these

I have 4 of these.
The device of type 'Light/Switch' definitely changes when I push the button on the controller.
I have Lua scripts that check this status.
Zwave - Sigma Z+ stick, Fibaro 2x FGSD002, FGMS001
Horstmann - 2x HRT4, 2x C-stat-11, 4x ASR-ZW, TKB 2x TZ56, 2x TZ68E
Max-EQ Cube, Valve, Neo 2x door
RFXtrx433E, RFlink - 1byone driveway, doorbell, Oregon and BangGood temp
Wifi - YeeLight RGB, 3x ESP8266

Dear Westcott,

Thank you.
Mine also now show the updated state that human fingers changed.
This require you to enable polling under "setup, hardware, select the ASR-ZW and tick enable polling" it seems.

Westcott, do you know the use of the variable "Mode" for the "HRT4 ASR-ZW, aka SSR303-Controller"?
HRT4_ASR, what is the Mode option, it can be Heat or Off.jpg

Glad it's working.
Yes. I had to enable polling, but forgot to mention it - sorry!
I think you can use 'Mode Heat' to turn it on, but it does seem to update the switch.
Nor does it show 'Heat' when it's on.
Have a look at the device in the Zwave control panel.
