ZWave broken in Version: 3.6325

Postby Justinb81 » Monday 09 January 2017 23:03

Version: 3.6325
Build Hash: 7129903
Compile Date: 2017-01-09 11:25:30

I am having issues with Domoticz after the latest beta where my Zwave devices went missing.. looks like an error in the manufacturer file?
Some are being switched by Lua and are working fine although they are have wrong device ID's and some aren't switched

I am not sure if this is related to a possible problem in the configuration file...
But i updated the OZW library in the next beta version

I have updated to Version: 3.6327
And the devices were still not found so I renamed zwcfg_[contr_id].xml to zwcfg_[contr_id].old and restarted the pi resulting in a loss of all devices.
I have put back the original zwcfg_[contr_id].xml and rebooted, and now I have all my non battery powered devices back. (odd that the controller is ID0x000)

--EDIT
The battery powered devices are slowly coming back.. case closed I hope...

I seem to have the same problem with a new installation. OpenZwave USB is not visible in the dropdown list on the hardware page on 3.6325 and also not in 3.6327. I have Domoticz on a Ubuntu system (16.04 LTS). And installed openzwave according to this manual: http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Linux#Add_ ... for_Z-Wave

It also worked fine in older versions.

hm, you only need to install openzwave if you compile Domoticz yourself. Nothing changed in the USB settings of the zwave device?

@tjoep: You have a different issue, please search the forum or open another topic.

I do experience similar issues with 3.6327 on Syno:
2017-01-10 16:02:42.989 OpenZWave: Received timeout notification from HomeID: 25487143, NodeID: 5 (0x05)
2017-01-10 16:05:09.352 OpenZWave: Received timeout notification from HomeID: 25487143, NodeID: 5 (0x05)

One node constantly dropping timeouts, but even worse: none of the nodes react.
Let's go back to previous version...

Addition: apparently zwave hadn't queried all devices, even after 30 minutes.
Now back on v3.6312. Awake nodes queried in 4 minutes and no timeouts.

I managed to get them working again by pressing the include buttons on all sensors.
A real pain with the fibaro window sensors as it is on the bottom and screwed to the window.

I don't think so for my case. I don't have any of the devices in that list.
Also, when I go back to previous version with conservation of my XML the timeouts dissapear.
