Last Password Problem

Post by Docdev » Friday 01 June 2018 13:18

Hi
I have miss typed my password when resetting it so I tied the recovery method by restarting using ./domoticz -nowwwpwd. Unfortunately my router does not allow me to use port 8080 so restarting fails.
Is there a way of assigning a port when issuing this command?

I *think* if I am not wrong (recall from memory) you can edit domoticz.sh and setup another open port...

Hi
Thanks for your reply. I did check domoticz.sh but could not see any reference to port 8080.

sudo nano /etc/init.d/domoticz.sh

And change

DAEMON_ARGS="$DAEMON_ARGS -www 8080"

Hi sineverbra
Thanks again for your reply but I looked at my domoticz.sh file and it only contains my -www and -wwwssl settings not the default 8080 settings.
No problem as I have rebuild my system and its all working again but it may be helpful to others if this can be resolved.
