So what's the best stable way to go now?

I have a corrupted sd card again. I have tried to run domoticz with the Pi and ssd drive but that wasn't a Succes either. It was done by a tutorial somewhere on the forum.

Berryboot I don't know.... Is it running stable? Or are there better ways? Thinkerboard?? Odroid?

I find a nuc to expensive and rather high on power.

NUC is very low power consumption.

Core i3 NUC + a Samsung 850 ssd or newer will be one of the best budget options.

When you install on the NUC choose the BTRFS file system.

I'm thinking to move from RPi3 to an more stable hardware platform.
Which Intel NUC or other Mini PC is suitable to do this job and also has some performance to run additional tasks?

Also wants a piece of hardware which not consumes a lot of energy.

This model: BOXNUC7i3BNK

You will want at least 4gb of memory and a M2 SSD (suggest using Samsung brand), make sure its not fake (buy from a reputable seller).

Suggest using Debian 9 Stretch on it, the Raspberry Pi's Raspbian is based on Debian.

Also suggest manually picking the BTRFS file system during install.
