Max characters in utilities text box?

Post by paul402 » Wednesday 06 December 2017 21:33

I dumped a 100 characters in so far without problems! What is the max characters before it throws them away or crashes?
Also how can I throw a <new line> character(s) in the middle to do some nice formatting?

OK the text box will take about 250 characters before the complete text string is ignored.
I haven't found the escape characters yet to force a new line '\n' and '\\n' in the string do not create a new line.

Anybody got any ideas?

<br> within a string will give you a line break in a text device.

Thank you! Works perfectly.
I guess then all/most html tags will work like font, colour etc.
