GPIO LED Strips Dimmer ?

Hello,

I have a question and nothing found about it only over wifi. I would like connect on the GPIO pin from my rpi a led stip over a TIP120. Now my question its possible to dim these leds ? on/off is no problem but direkt dimming i have noting found.

As far as I know, dimming is done using PWM (Puls Width Modulation), so i assume if you can let your GPIO do PWM, you can.

okay i know the Raspberry Pi can pwm but i don´t know how I can do this !
