Bought three of these with brand name OWIM. The model number on the temperature station is HG00073A-TX. I cannot get them to appear in Domoticz, I downgraded the firmware to version 1009. Any tips to get this working?

Thanks!

Hi,

You can also test the other firmware types. I don't mean the version numbers, but the Type1, Type2, Ext or Ext2 (Ext and Ext2 only for RFXtrx433E).
Checkout the RFXCOM manual te see which protocols work with which firmware type.

RFXCOM Manual:

Good luck!

Rob

After a few months, are you still happy with these sensors? Want to buy some, but need to be sure if they will work and are stable.

Edit: I ordered 3 of them. Hope they will work right out the box.

thanks bravo.
dowgrading to 1009 did the trick by me also.
I'm now wondering if it is the antenna or domoticz is the problem

.... confusing ...

It seems to work now. Moved a little closer to the RFxcom. Tomorrow the other two, and then figuring out how to move the transciever so it can reach the sensor in the living room.

Got them working now. sort off.

They do appear in the Domoticz device listing, and I can see the temperatur, but... only one time. Looks like it isn't refreshing it self. Looking in the log i see this happening every 30 seconds or so.

I got interested in those sensors when I saw this topic and how much they cost. So I bought two, installed the batteries and it works for me. They show up as shown in the screenshot.

They do show up, but somehow don't show the temperature. In the log are some data that i suspect comes from those sensors, but they show as 'system sensor'.

When I enable the "Motherboard sensors" on tab Setup - Hardware then the log looks like your screenprint in your post from 03 june. I think it has nothing to do with the temperature sensors. You could temporarily stop the Motherboard sensors to check what happens. Did you filter the results in the Log or is nothing else showing up?

As for me, the sensors show up in the Devices list, I added them to my inventory and they show up at my dashboard. They send their data every 31 seconds. From the Log:

I have them in devices and in the dashboard, nothing much happens.

So, the last time data was received was a few days ago, and that was the only time.

Okay, then I can only think of one thing: they're signal don't reach the receiver, because of their distance or due to interference. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. :?

Looks nice for a fine price. Is it the outside sensor which is connecting to Domoticz? If so, why is shown in Domoticz as a Temp/Hum device? The ad from Lidl claims it is only for temperature.

And can you only use the sensor or is the base unit also needed?

It is only for temperature. Why it shows as temp/hum. I guess no one knows. Base units are not needed. I'm going to put mine in a garage sale some day.

At this moment there are also available in the store for E8,99 (white and black). Saves you shipping costs.

Just bought 3 and exchanged 1 for not working (was only seen once by domoticz).
