Zwave plug modules £15 a piece

Post by chrisfraser05 » Wednesday 11 January 2017 21:25

Guys,

been lurking here for over a year but only just registered so I'd better do my bit.

Vesternet.com are selling the Greenwave plug/appliance modules for as low as £15 each when bought in bulk (10 to get that price).
Considering normally you pay min double that I think its a good deal.

I have 12 of them and can confirm they are good.

You have to change parameter 1 to 255 to stop it flashing a light (annoying) if it doesn't hear from the controller frequently.
Also they default to on if you cycle the power to them, not really a big deal.

Anyway, thought I'd share!!!!

Plus, this means I might have 12 energenie plug modules for sale in the near future lol

Agree...
Just bought 5 pieces from the UK.
The problem is the UK socket

So i ordere 5 UK to EU from baxshop
https://www.bax-shop.nl/stekkers/dap-sc ... ug-adapter

and the other way around by coolsound
http://www.coolsound.nl/eu-to-uk-adaptor-plug/P48771

I have many Greenwave's in , in my zwave network, and confirm that is working very reliable.
Even with the poling function on.

Is your z-wave network still quick with so many devices being polled?

Bought 2 and they work very well, and the fact they provide energy readings is very very nice. Bought another 2 because the TKB ones I originally started the network with have been quite unreliable, and have never appeared in the network with a manufacturer name or anything, they have always been "unknown". Now I find that similar to another post somewhere on the Domoticz forum, there is mention that while the TKB and Greenwave sockets report each other as neighbours - the TKB sockets don't appear to route messages from the Greenwave sockets. Anyway as the Greenwave sockets are so cheap, and provide energy readings - I'd quite happily buy bulk lots and use them throughout the entire network.
