Voltrcraft CO-20, AppliedSensor Indoor Air Monitor

Post by Sine » Wednesday 13 April 2016 9:20

The voltcraft CO-20 is unavailable from Conrad for some time now, the CO-20 is a rebranded AppliedSensor Indoor Air Monitor (iAM)

Both Rehau and Velux Germany now offer this sensor under their brand, it is exactly the same thing as the CO-20 and works in Domotics the same way the CO-20 would :)

The only problem is that if you don't live in Germany you need someone to order it for you ( as I did )
Apparently anyone can order the Rehau stick if you live in Europe. (Thanks for the tip nmaster)

=-edit-=
Unfortunately the rehau stick is not available anymore :(

=- edit 2 -=
Amazon is restocking them :)

Thank you Sine,

It seems if your live in Europe you can order it from amazone.de

I saw the link when I opened the rehau.com link you posted.

Ordered one from amazon.de, I'm in France, 5.55 euros for shipping.

Hmm my sensor when directly addit to domoticz the co2 levels rise to 3000 - 5000 ppm, when the door opens it reads 450 ppm...

Whats the program you use the Airsensor? A home made script?

Yes, it can work stand alone it will show it's status via three LEDs Green, Orange and Red (Good, Mediocre, Bad)

But that is no fun ofcourse, if you plug it into domoticz you can see the live value.
I have one in the living room connected to the main domoticz raspberry, the other one lives in the bedroom and is plugged into the raspberry that I use as media box (OSMC) with a slave domotiz install on it to send the data to my main raspberry.

mmm
did order a USB @ amazon.de
And i was thinking that this usb was working om my NUC with Windows Domoticz..... [ running almost all day ]

Only this USB is not in the hardware list for Windows domoticz...
Is there a other [ remote ] option to read this USB from the Windows NUC.
Or is it possible to make this usb work on a Windows device?

Hope there is...

Does anybody has a working usb version of the driver for osx mac apple? It seem domoticz compiles but when running it does not work it's read only/no privilidge/access denied... (i have to look it up, my server has crashed at the moment, no lights for a week now... :-/ )

The corrisponding code is for linux and not osx unix so I missing libraries to test it...

Anybody got this working...

Thanks! Interesting device indeed

Just one question...would there be a way to connect 2 of these devices direcly to one raspberry pi and read as 2 devices? I noticed in domoticz that you can't specify a usb port:(...
