Thank you very much for the update, i always look forward to new features.
however; yesterday i installed the new version on my windows machine, and all went well expect one thing, most of the IDX ids have changed the old ones dont work anymore and new ones were assigned to the same sensors.

this is mostly with motion sensors or anything that sends data back to Domoticz, i use Mysensors and i have plenty of rules, but not none of it works due to the change in IDs and none of the sensors are reporting back.
any idea why new ids were assigned? and is there a way i can fix this easily, otherwise i would need to reconfigure eveything, scripts, events and notifications and its hours of work.

please help because now my whole setup is broken

Update runs fine here!

The switches tab is a lot faster! Thanks for that! And currently I see all systems display the new (nice stylish) black environment

Thanks!

Hi all,

(WEB) Update whent fine, just one question:
What is the openzwave version that comes with this version of Domoticz?
It still seems to be 1.4 while the version on https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave ... /ChangeLog is 1.5.

Thanks for the hard work being done on this project!

That's correct, you can see this on the hardware setup page

Updating OZW for the beta version now, but that will not have a huge impact.
Configuration files are updated on a very regular basis in domoticz

Would be great if the ozw development branch is ready

Take a look in Setup > Hardware > 1-Wire and the OWFS Path. Mine had lost the settings for this which resulted in: 1wire hardware (2) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly

GREAT WORK !!! Now backup folder, database, SD-card and do a Domoticz update !! :D Can't wait :D

After all backups did a update, got a error of domoticz. Went back to current version. Sorry didn't copy paste the error line.

But do you need install Domoticz as new or can you update using the update option in Dashboard?

It has been quite a long time since a new release version has been published!

7 Months of hard work, debugging, testing , more work.. more testing, and we now hope to have reached a good point to make this new release.

Too many new features/changes and fixes have been made, but some important once have been listed below.

Big thanks to all beta testers and fellow developers !
What is needed for this version?

Python 3.4 ?

Didn't find it on the install page, maybe because its not updated

I have waited a few days to avoid some trouble with updating the system. The update worked well and I hope a lot of people will honor this with donations. Thanks to all developer for all the efforts you made to keep the system up to date.

Is this still needed to run the latest version 3.8153?

sudo apt-get install python3-dev

and/or

Code: Select all

 wget https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.5.2/Python-3.5.2.tar.xz
 tar -xvf Python-3.5.2.tar.xz
 cd Python-3.5.2
 ./configure --enable-shared
 make
 sudo make install
Don't miss the enabled-shared flag otherwise libpython will not be built.

Note: Only peform this step if you are building from source and are having issues, it should not be required.
After building Python 3.5.x change CMakeLists.txt

 option(USE_PYTHON_PLUGINS "Use Python Plugins" YES)
 IF(USE_PYTHON_PLUGINS)
   set(Python_ADDITIONAL_VERSIONS 3.5) <---- add this line
   find_package(PythonLibs 3.5) <---- change version into 3.5
   IF(PYTHONLIBS_FOUND)

Hi Gizmocus,

first of all I would like to thank you for all the effort you (and a lot of others) punt in the new version of domoticz, V3.8153
after a complete new install on my Rpi-3 I keep getting the following errors.

The latest stable release was running fine for me until today. I have not changed anything, just deleted 1 variable that I was not using anymore.
Domoticz started crashing with:

2017-08-06 16:24:28.092 Error: Domoticz received fatal signal 11 !...
2017-08-06 16:24:28.094 Error: /home/pi/domoticz/domoticz() [0x1cdc48]

Now it crashed immediately after starting it. Tried to restore an older database without luck.

Do you guys have any ideas/troubleshooting tips? Thanks in advance.

Marton
