This is the "alive" check of your RFLink, Domoticz is sending the ping, RFLink is answering with the pong.

Hi,

I just updated to latest stable, everything works OK, but i get now an error message everytime i iniciate a switch command.

The command gets successfully executed, but an error message is shown (happens for every switch type, zwave, whatever...)

Is this really an error message?
In the settings/ protocol, there are three headers:
all, status, error

I knew from some older beta versions, that sometimes messages are send to the wrong section (e.g. status messages are in the error header)
As long as there are no other problems, i reduce the logging of domoticz to a minimum level, by adding "-loglevel 1" do DAEMON_ARGS in the /etc/init.d/domoticz.sh script

Code: Select all

DAEMON_ARGS="$DAEMON_ARGS -log /var/tmp/domoticz.txt"
DAEMON_ARGS="$DAEMON_ARGS -loglevel 1"
#DAEMON_ARGS="$DAEMON_ARGS -syslog"
Messages like yours probably won't show up any more

thanks.. but i prefer to go back to the previous stable and wait for issues to be solved.

there are no really errors, in fact, the message keeps coming and coming (same message):

I had this before and it was a corrupt SD. The data stays in memory and seems to work until reboot. Be worth checking logs on one of your devices and check when it was last updated. I had lost 3 months or so of info. Also if you created any new blocky\lua since last reboot, are they are still there?

On another note, does the update include the changes to Python - i did beta updates and it broke all my plugins... i dont really have time to sort these at the moment.

Hi yall Domoticz members (post #1)!

I was very pleased to see in the web-interface that there was an update!
At the same time and to my regrets, as of today Domoticz was for a hours no longer working here. Coincidence?

Following the logical route to update, as an attempt of many to get Domoticz back online again, did not result in an update on a Asustor NAS (AS6202T).
But now, hours later, a miracle: the web-interface frontend on various devices is saying V3.8153 and everything within Domoticz seem to be working as normal again!

The only weird thing is, when I go into the NAS frontend so to the App Central to check which version of Domoticz is running, it is still saying that it is on version 3.5837 with last modification on 2016/04/29. Clicking on Update results in a message that all apps seems to be up-to-date.

Any thoughts?

Indeed....created blocky event...gone after reboot.
I will buy a new card and restore the data (hopefully that works!)

Thanks!

Not sure what you mean, but there was no need to clear the browser caches.
On the app that is running on the Asustor NAS there are no other options then to start and stop the app, which I tried, including restarting the NAS.

Nice. A new version. It killed some of my LUA-scripted functionality. I was getting fired up to flame the new dzVents system but luckily, I found the culprit before I starting my rant...

LUA scripts are commonly named script_device_something.lua. An important change: if you have a device named 'something', this script will only execute on device changes of device 'something'.
So, after renaming some of my scripts, everything started working again.

Couldn't find this on the list of new features.

I'll look into dzVents later, when I have more time.

Now, let's search for the elusive colour info output for dummy RGB(W) dimmer, preferably in RGB format, so it can be used in LUA, for controlling home-brew RGB LED lighting...
