ESPEasy with ESP8266 and DHT22, be aware of right GPIO Pin

Post by moses123 » Sunday 14 October 2018 10:03

Hello,

just something that took a lot of time from me, trying to get this work.
I used a ESP8266 NodeMCU Lolin V3 with ESPEasy lastest version und a DH22 Temp/Hum Sensor.
Right after boot, everything worked as expected, the data was transferred to domoticz.
But with deepsleep enabled, nothing worked, no data after the first deep sleep circle.

The cause was a wrong gpio pin. I used GPIO4 (D2) as read in many tutorials.
This GPIO is used at boot from deep sleep for something else, in this case the dht22 will stop working after deep sleep. No data can be read.

Using a different port solves the problem. For example GPIO14 (D5).
