Re: Howto: Raspberry Pi GPIO 433MHz Remote Sockets

I have also got this working. I did not create a dummy but followed mostly the first posts Wiki. I first had some trouble installing the ninja stuff. I had to change a line in the Makefile for the compilation to work (CXXFLAGS=-DRPI change to --> CXXFLAGS=-DRPI -pthread) After changing one warning r...

Re: GPIO working with Wiring pi but not with Domoticz ...

I have a kinda similar problem. I can use gpio exports and I did set the out and in (with both) in the domoticz.sh (like the wiki states) But I don't see the GPIO hardware in the list.. Where should I look for help? What can be the problem? Working on Raspberry pi3 with ubuntu 16.04 and latest Domot...

Put a comma in stead of a period?

Hi all,

As I am from Holland I would like to have a comma as the decimal separator.
Is there a way to change this is the view? So instead of 4.324 kWh consumption I see 4,324 kWh (makes more sense to me :D )

Regards,

Ronald

reading out S0 kWh meter

Hi All, I need some help with understanding. I have just installed a kWh meter with an S0 bus. The manual of the kWh meter says that the 'pulse output rate is 2000 pulses per kWh(0,5Wh/imp) I have bought the S0PCM (5 ports) to connect to the S0 bus. I do see the meter in my Domoticz but the value it...

Re: DIY cheap USB-cable to read P1 port of Dutch smart meter

so there is no information coming from the smart meter..
Please remind me.. what is cu ?

You should see readable info every x seconds... When you don't have that Domoticz will not be able to use it.

Re: DIY cheap USB-cable to read P1 port of Dutch smart meter

It is always good practise to first use a terminal program to connect to the smart meter.
With the terminal program you can easily change settings on the connection and test if you get readable data.

Have you tried 9600 baudrate ?

Re: Return water temperature on Intergas HReco36

People please stay on topic.

The topic is about a Intergas HReco36 boiler.

As I am also a owner of this type of boiler I would also like to know if it is possible to read out the return temperature.

Did someone got it operational?

Re: Setup Domoticz

I have a follow-up.

I see a lot of talk about Arduino boards.

Maybe I am mistaken but perhaps I need these boards on every location I want to monitor / manage something. I can then choose wether to add a Ethernet or RF module.

Right or wrong ?

Re: Setup Domoticz

Thanks for your reply. So I guess most users of Domoticz use multiple hosts which a master retrieves data from (or data gets sent to master domoticz). What I am trying to achieve is to build a HomeWizard system but with a minimum of half of the costs. I like it very much what those guys from HomeWiz...

Re: Cheap ($11) RS232 to Ethernet converter on eBay

Hi,

I also have bought some RS232 to ethernet chinese stuff. But I seem to be unable to get these things working (I don't even get them powered up)

Do you have any possible pics how you have connected power etc to the device ?

Regards,

Ronald

What device(s) do you use for instant energy measuring? Like WallOutlets

Hi all, I would like to know what electronics you guys are using to measure energy around the house. I am very interested in how to monitor the power consumption per wall outlet as I would like to know how my power consumption is divided in the house. I would also like to monitor my room light. I ha...
