Re: Neo Coolcam PIR Sensor not recognised

Thanx lost. This helped solving the problem. Great! Regards, Emiel You're welcome! These modules are a bit buggy to include but after that, they are almost no-brainers: I only had an issue once in almost a year, after a Domoticz restart, on 1 module among 2. One module was still looking OK (ie ligh...

Re: Neo Coolcam PIR Sensor not recognised

Try to exclude the sensor, then reinclude again. Seems the inclusion wasn't successful hence the 0000. Looking at his screenshot, he have a z-stick gen5 as a controller. So this looks to be the usual problem with these PIRs when you include them unplugging the stick (this controller have a battery ...

As I am doing restore rather often (mainly due to my experiments and LMS failing sometimes) I can say that only domoticz.db is necessary. Of course if you have backup of scripts and other things placed in www folder.
Ok, thanks for the info!

Hello, My current domoticz install on a PI3 is old stable v3.5877 (on jessie) & I would like to rebuild a new µSD (industrial grade, as current one starts failing: Had to restore a backup 2 times in a month due to IO errors after write perfs have dropped a lot, so IMO current µSD is almost wear-out...

Re: Qubino ZMNHTDx Smart meter S4 S5 S6

I bought it only for the measurement functions and I never get the right information in Domoticz, different than the ozw panel, that has the right ones. The second issue, connected to the first one, I'm not able to get the incremental data.... so as I wrote in my previous post, for my needs, comple...

Re: Qubino ZMNHTDx Smart meter S4 S5 S6

after more than 1 year, I think that I will throw away this unusable module and I will search for something that is working finally fine. I'm really tired on waiting a response from the domoticz or Qubino support, probably they are not interested on the use of this one with the platform. On my side...

Re: Add a on delay for PIRs

Hmmm. I'm not suggesting a complex feature or limited use feature here - what I'm suggesting is the opposite of the off delay. If that is there, then an on delay option is hardly extending domoticz significantly. That's just my opinion, but I assume there is another problem: This kind of switch (PI...

Re: Add a on delay for PIRs

Yes, that's my point. Having external code is messy where a time check within domoticz would be much tidier and functional . That's your point... But for those who implements such things that's not as easy at it sounds, especially if you want to make tunables that'll fit every device/situation. I s...

Re: Add a on delay for PIRs

Hi, When using PIRs, they are likely to trigger each time something moves in front (as they are designed). What would be neat is to have an option to be able to disregard repeated triggers for a configurable number of seconds. Sort of the reverse of the off-delay. Where PIRs are constantly on, the ...

Re: Moved z-wave devices around the house! :o now what?

this is why it is asked to include the device in the right place and not near the controller (the controller needs to create the route to the device) It's usually impossible to include a module at more than 1 meter from the controller: Reason is inclusion is done at a reduced radio power, probably ...

Re: [Gearbest] Coolcam Z-Wave EU Plug 16€!! [EXPIRED]

Do you know if this is a Z-wave Plus power plug? It only says: Compatible with 300 series and 500 series, but does that automatically mean it is a 500 chip (or 5th gen, or plus)? The ones ordered last november (during chinese new year aliexpress discounts) were z-wave+. Problem is they did not last...

Re: Notification stil sent after arming system

the security panel is aligned with my arm/disarm action. that's why i'm confused. In some Lua scripts, I observed that the delay set for arming is not respected: Arming away in switches shows up with delay, checking security status in scripts is not: Arming is seen immediately. Tried checking: othe...

Re: How to reconfigure a Zwave device (Neo Coolcam Siren) with a script?

When I got my Aeon Siren, I also lacked the possibility to change chime/level easily (+ didn't know at the time the "applyzwavenodeconfig" API). I thus used another option: Put a loudspeaker on the PI & make a python service that gets triggered on external sensors/virtual sensors (triggered by camer...

Re: Z-wave power level reporting

I would like to see that too. Fibaro devices (other brands probably too) can check there signal so maybe they can report it too. I think all devices should at least have this information: At startup (or network heal), the network mesh topology is built automatically and RSSI info is probaly used to...

Re: native HTTPS / SSL support in Domoticz

You need to start domoticz as root. Try 'sudo ./domoticz.sh'. Or just reboot the pi In my understanding, he's just willing to run Domoticz as a non root user. As there may only be the http(s) usual ports (80/443, thus < 1024) binding needing root rights under Domoticz, he changed them for some figu...

Re: Weird Zwave switches state change on RPI 3 (OpenZWave problem, need 2 clicks)

Hi, With Jeedom, a trick could hide a problem (Jeedom will send 2 times the commands when you click 1 time on a device). Somebody from Jeedom team and working on OpenZWave told that a refactor of the library is on a way and that the trick could be integrated directly in the library, that would bene...

Re: Qubino ZMNHTDx Smart meter S4 S5 S6

I have to wait for a firmware update or OZW config? Nobody knows how to have an incremental counter... You can update your OZW config xml file without updating Domoticz/OZW: New one replace old in domoticz/config... path and you restart domoticz. But it's to be able to read (only from OZW panel) mo...

Re: Weird Zwave switches state change on RPI 3 (OpenZWave problem, need 2 clicks)

just to let you know: its not a domoticz only problem. I switched to Home Assistant with my old Aeon Gen2 stick and had the same issue. Bought a new fresh Gen5 stick and problem was solved. There is such kind of problem using OZW with devices that takes to much time to update some internal switch s...
