Re: Help needed - Blocky Humidity Ventilation and Light Switch Combination

Looking good. The fan switches off may need to be "and" instead of "or", but that's just an opinion. If it works how you want it to then its all good.
It may be worth checking the log to make sure there are no loops or excessive entries.

Re: Help needed - Blocky Humidity Ventilation and Light Switch Combination

Ok:- WC - Light = Your Light switches (2 Yes?) ExtractFan = Integer Variable Extract Fan = Extract Fan WC Light On. "If" looks for either light switch to turn on. It also checks the value of the variable. If it's 0 then the fan is stopped and can therefore be turned on. When turned on the variable i...

Re: Help needed - Blocky Humidity Ventilation and Light Switch Combination

If you right click the And/Or block you will see some options. Select "External Inputs". (You would use 2 different devices for WC Light, but shown is just for reference to illustrate the And / Or scenarios.) Sorry for the complexity, however, I have had a quick go at it and perhaps you can modify /...

Re: Help needed - Blocky Humidity Ventilation and Light Switch Combination

Hi, Below is my blockly that has been working nicely for over a year now. It has more complexity because it copes with 2 fan speeds on the humidity, as well as 3 position manual override, using a selector switch. Also it is conditional on occupancy. The whole thing works due to the use of a variable...

Re: Thermostat Control with Blockly - need help please

Hi, the basic problem is probably that nested "If" blocks do not work. Try re-building without the nesting?

Re: Python plugin on Windows?

I have tried to install on Windows 7, Domoticz crashes and restarts continuously. I have tried various versions from Stable to v3.8740. I gave up and installed a 2nd Domoticz on a small linux box and run it as a slave with the excellent Sonos and Broadlink python scripts. Versions of python tried ar...

Re: User variable did not change by event

I have similar events working with variables. I would use an Integer type Variablefor this.
May be worth a try?

Re: Fibaro Switch 2 FGS 213 does not work well

Hi,

I recently installed the FGS 223 and had a similar problem with one of the two switches. The switch appeared in Domoticz but would not operate the hardware. In the z-wave control panel both switches would operate the hardware.

I think I fixed it by rebooting Domoticz. Have you tried that? ;)

Re: Blocky timer automatic off after xx minutes

I use the Fibaro Motion / Multi Sensor. All of the delay, blind time, sensitivity settings etc. are done in the Z-Wave settings for the sensor. Therefore it becomes a simple on-off device for Domoticz, and avoids the timer problems:- https://www.dropbox.com/s/jhfbdynbwb951gk/Light.PNG?dl=1 Bedroom P...

Re: Python on win10 installation & domoticz problems

I am on Windows 7, and I have been unable to run Domoticz since V 3.7377 with any version of python installed. With the event system enabled it crashes and re-starts in a loop until I disable the event system, or uninstall Python. In order to update and try to find a solution I have installed a slav...

Have you tried setting the change with "permanent"? For me that works, but if I set an "Until" time then what you describe happens.

Re: Python Plugin: Broadlink RM2 V3

@Stan, you should copy broadlink module under one directory searched by the plugin framework. Have already seen people copying "broadlink" module under the plugin directory itself. Thanks @zak45 (again). I read through the forum and took your advice with the copy. Then I found a post by @phantom wh...

I have also installed "pip3 install pycrypto" without error. When I attempt to add hardware (which does appear in the ...

From the Dummy Hardware you can get a Themostat device:-

Which calls a setpoint if you click on the "Flame"

Will that do it? ;)

Has anyone successfully installed this plug-in on a Synology Disk Station?
(I have the Sonos plug-in working fine.)
