Domoticz hangs when using MQTT

Hi all, A couple of weeks ago I bought a few Sonoff-devices, among which a Sonoff POW. I flashed the devices with Tasmota, installed Mosquitto on my Raspberry Pi and configured MQTT on some of the Sonoff-devices. For the basic switches, it works great. But with the Sonoff POW, I have some problems. ...

Re: Domoticz offline after saving settings

I just found a solution for this. I had the Buienradar-plugin removed from the plugin-directory, but I didn't remove it from the hardware-list. I just removed it and the settings tab is working like it should be.

Domoticz offline after saving settings

Hi all, When I change general settings and save them, I got a message "Domoticz OFFLINE". Restarting Domoticz solves the problem. Settings are saved btw. I'm using a fresh install of Raspbian Stretch and Domoticz. With a fresh database, nothing's wrong. With my old database (which has the same probl...

Re: Buienradar Weather Lookup Plugin

Hi all, I'm experiencing the same problems as mentioned above; once the plugin is installed, Domoticz stopped working. Simple removal of the plugin and Domoticz is running again. I understand this is all voluntary work (keep up the great work!), but maybe G3rard can post an update about this problem?!

Domoticz won't run after fresh install

Hi all, I just re-installed my Raspberry Pi and got the newest version of Raspbian (Stretch). After installing and updating the OS, first thing to do was to install Domoticz. I followed the instructions on the wiki (by running sudo curl -L install.domoticz.com | sudo bash ), and I didn't got any err...

Re: Buienradar Weather Lookup Plugin

Thanks for your quick reply. I updated the python-file, and for 90% it works. But I'm now getting another error:

Code: Select all

HTTP error in rain predictor: URL: https://gps.buienradar.nl/getrr.php?lat=52.01&lon=4.32
Can you see what's going wrong here?

Thanks

Re: Buienradar Weather Lookup Plugin

I'm also using the stable version of Domoticz. I can see the buienradar plugin in the hardware list, but no devices are created. In the log I see 2017-09-08 18:36:49.715 Error: (Buienradar) failed to load 'plugin.py', Python Path used was '/home/pi/domoticz/plugins/domoticz-buienradar/:/usr/local/li...

Re: Dashticz - Module - Calendar

Thanks for the good work! I got my calendars working (combined). It works pretty fine. But is it possible to display the month in text (like jan, feb, mar, apr) instead of a number? And for recurring items, I see the date of the last appointment instead of the upcoming, and the time is displayed wr...

Re: Dashticz - Feature Requests

I just started with Dashticz (which is actually great!!), and I have some feature requests already: Change the color of the icon based on a switch in Domoticz (f.e. if my Nest-thermostat is heating (I can see it in Domoticz as a switch), I want to change the color of the room temperature icon in Das...

Re: framb0ise v2 - awesome new dashboard!

I really like the simplicity of your dashboard and the way I can group information. But... in Dashticz I can add some other nice things, like ´buienradar´, traffic info, sunset/sunrise. For me, combining these two would be the best solution! So I'm gonna try to add this in Framb0ise, but maybe I nee...

nvalue vs. svalue

Hi all, Can someone explain to me what the difference is between a nvalue and a svalue? The reason I'm asking is when i'm looking in the API-URL's, most off the time 'nvalue=0' is in the URL and svalue is used. But not for all. For example, why does the Air Quality require a nvalue instead of a sval...

Very nice idea! Maybe you can do something with notifications, so you can add notifications on a sensor to add to this timeline!

Re: Domoticz as the heating controller

I don't want to bother checking whether Domoticz crashes. I'm looking for a setup that does not require my assistence. I'm eager to learn about your pid controllers. Can you share the custom python script? Does this script only require temps from the rooms? You have to think about what should happe...
