Re: Turn screen Android tablet off when sleep/not home

Another aproach would be activating adb over wifi in the tablet and send ADB commands. For example "adb shell input keyevent 26" emulates pressing the power button on your tablet, so it toggles the screen On/off

Re: dzVents only updating 1 switch/light

And if your remove for both the .for_min(2) ? Does the second one work then?
Duration does not work, that is correct. But you can still add an extra command for both, switchOff().after_min(2) to switch them back off

Re: Check last seen?

I think what are looking for is in the dzvents examples.
https://github.com/dannybloe/dzVents/tree/master/dzVents/examples
Look for check dead devices.lua
That script checks for device that have not been updated for x minutes

Re: Heating DZvents Multi Zone

I think avgTemp is nil because the persitent variable 'temperatureReadings' is not being populated.
Can you check if the exact name of your temperature sensero is 'Downstairs Temperature'? Keep in mind that Lua is case sensitive..

Re: Timer Plan Edit

you can change the timer plan with

Code: Select all

http://127.0.0.1:8080/json.htm?type=command&param=setactivetimerplan&ActiveTimerPlan=0

Where ActiveTimerPlan=0 sets the idx of the plan, 0 being default

Re: Control PiMusicbox with lua

Hi gijs69, Until I saw your post I only used local playlists, thanks to your script I now have a mix of playlist and streaming radio. Thanks a lot! I just finished a script that gets the currently playing track and updates it to a text sensor to display it in Domoticz. Do you by chance know if there...

Re: Timer Plan Edit

In Setup -> settings -> other you can set the timer plan to use. By default it is set to.. Default. You arrange your timers the way you want them. When you then change the plan to Holiday (which is the second option you have when you didn't add another timer plan). If you then look at the timers of ...

Re: Timer Plan Edit

This way you can have different timers for different situations. Before it was either Default or Holiday. Now you can create others. I have now: Default , for regular Days/weeks, Holiday , for when we are away from home and Vacation for when we are not working but not away from home (long weekend et...

Re: problems with Persistent data

In that case I wouldn't know. This is a working script I use that is similar to what you want, maybe you find something that can help you return { active = true, on = { ['timer'] = 'every 30 minutes' }, data = { prevtbath = {initial=15} }, execute = function(domoticz) local tempd = domoticz.devices[...

I don't know if it is compulsary, but I always give an initial value, even if It is nil.
That is how is described on the dzvents github page

Re: Assistance required getting energy script to work, split string

I have used that script long time ago and remember struggling quite a lot with it :-) In the end it worked, but don't really remember quite how. Short after that I moved to dzvents which has a lot of built-in functions for these kind of things. your script could be something like: return { active = ...

Re: Assistance required getting energy script to work, split string

try

Code: Select all

watt, kwh = string.match(otherdevices_svalues['Energy Monitor'], "(%d+%.*%d*);(%d+%.*%d*)")

instead of

Code: Select all

watt, kwh = energyreading:match("([^;]+);([^;]+)")
