Re: Onkyo plugin on Windows

Now at least I got the following error in the log:

2018-04-24 22:47:38.900 Error: (Onkyo) 'onMessage' failed 'TypeError':'onMessage() missing 2 required positional arguments: 'Status' and 'Extra' '.

Any clue?

Hmmm, ok I beleive there is files missing in the plugins folders... I thougt only the plugin.py was needed for each function but of course it is many times also follows icons etc.

The Wiki however don't tell how Windows users installs plugins from github projects, anyone willing to help?

Re: Python - on Windows 7

Hi Dnpwwo, Thank you for asking, sorry what file do you think of? Both plugin.py (mikrotik and moonphases) files was downloaded from each github project and copied to the ...\plugins\mikrotik vs. moonphases folders. I followed the Python install guide for Windows, but after that the wiki did not giv...

Hi, I am running Domoticz 3.8914 on Windows 7, it's working just fine. However today I installed Python latest stable at first but downgraded to 3.5.4 as I read others more successful on previous versions. In the log Python starts ok as it looks and plugin system Enters work loop. I tried to run Moo...

Re: wrong sunset time after daylight saving

Right... It fired an hour before sunset/sunrise, did it? I'll have it right next time (October) I know from my own business programmers struggled with timezones and especially DST corrections... :D And yes, it fired one hour early at Sunday both sunset/sunrise, just checked the log. Cheers! ...

Re: wrong sunset time after daylight saving

Been reported over and over, seems complicated... :) However tomorrow it will work as expected, probably. I beleive the code is using "day before" to calculate actual day sun-rise/set time. Not quite. As a timer fires it calculates when it should fire next, which is typically the next day/week/mont...

Sudden login prompt!?

Hi, Yesterday evening I tested different skins for Domoticz, but for some reason one or more of those skins tested must enabled the password protection switch because I do not use login prompt/credentials... I found the RPi command to force Domoticz to start without login prompt but I am usin...

Re: Multiple 'fake' sub devices

Well, I should not say it is dead, more like snail speed... Z-Wave "as is" works of course but there is a lot of issues, just check https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave Many new devices are included to OZW no problem with that, it is lack in core improvements that holds back a some wider and stab...

Open Z-Wave version?

Hi, Domoticz version: Any tested Platform: Win 10 Pugin: Open Z-Wave Anyone who knows why OZW in Hardware list indicates "1.4.2501.g5af6780.dirty" (same text since first Domoticz installed) even now on latest beta 3.8833 ? Is this text simply "hardcoded" at OZW plugin activation and never updates ev...

Re: Multiple 'fake' sub devices

I have same problem with ghost endpoints getting added over time... This is a OZW issue that I also have reported over there. Unfortunately OZW is more or less stopped in development so when this (and many other improvements) will be included is written in the stars... :(
