Re: Interesting device from itead.cc

Interesting indeed, though seems it has been out for a while already and some Domoticz compatibility testing done already as well http://tinkerman.cat/sonoff-sc-with-mqt ... z-support/ :)

2FA is NOT mandatory (yet). IOS11 will ask for it after the upgrade, but you’re still able to say no.
Thanks, good to hear. From earlier posts I thought it might be mandatory already on iOS 11 (maybe in the beta it was)...

Re: Mi_light Ibox v6 (API) not working

One thing I'd like to see implemented "natively" to Domoticz MiLight api is to have the "group switch" linked to the individual channels so that when a group switch (0) is pressed, the individual switches (1-4) will follow. Currently I need to add all kinds of scripts to accomplish this :) Or is the...

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)

You think the reason for the crashes is the Domoticz implementation? I thought the app is basically just working against the json API so there should not be anything too funny going on with that, well maybe some device (or the number of devices) could cause it? Unfortunately I have not ports open (e...

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)

My iPhone SE running latest iOS 10 had updated the app and now it won't start anymore (the splash screen comes up for a second or two). Tried to restart the phone, but would not like to reinstall the app as I have reorganized all the devices which was a huge work. Also updating to iOS 11 is not an o...

Re: Find My iPhone implementation in LUA script

Now that iOS 11 is out I wonder what is the status of this script, has anyone been able to verify it works (is 2FA mandatory in the official release)?

Re: Blockly examples

Two important things to remember with Domoticz Blockly implementation. Nested if's do not work and each (else)if-clause in is executed with multiple else-if (and else). So the above needs to be written without the nested if. You are using the correct way to check selector state. When checking the le...

Re: Create a generic button that triggers an HTTP request to an IP and port

Is there anything I can use that is similar but without the limitations? I don't think so. But what comes to your original question (at least part of it): why not just create a generic device and allow the user to determine the Button Name and the Button action. then that is exactly what a selector...

Re: Create a generic button that triggers an HTTP request to an IP and port

Yes there is (if I understood the question correctly :)). Look for "selector switch" (or "virtual selector" / "dummy selector" -> see e.g. https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15523&p=146844&hilit=virtual+selector#p146844) if you want to have a device with several buttons to trigger di...

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products

What you want is LiFePO4 rechargeables. They have the same voltage as the non-rechargeable ones. In my Fibaro motion sensors they last over 3 months. I bought 4 complete with the matching charger. Ordinary Li-on chargers won't work. Thanks, any suggestions on where to buy? Would be most excellent i...

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products

I have no issue for CR123A, CR2 or 14250 batteries I use rechargeables ones successfully on mutiple devices. Out of curiosity, which kind of rechargeables are you using, especially with CR123A? When I was looking into this, I found they are hard to come by especially with a correct voltage so that ...

Re: lua script trigger

I think the biggest problem in your script is the "else"-part. You have basically told the script to run on each device change and execute one of the two parts of the script. The first part is executed only when the changed device is 'zonnescherm' and it changes to 'On' and the second part (= else) ...

Re: Lights intermittently turn on / off together

Yes, Group1 is (usually) the controller which is needed of course if you want to centrally control the devices via your controller. If I remember right, my problem was also this kin of "weird 255" association in some other Group. The groups as such (their purpose what they do / are controlling) are ...

Re: Blockly examples

Edit: Sorry, read the question a bit hastily, thought it was about notifications but it was about the "OpenURL" :) Well, it could still work but doubt it and I'm afraid I don't know if there is any officially supported way. With LUA you can do it of course... Original message: =====================...

Re: Lights intermittently turn on / off together

Did you check the group associations and perhaps even reset any suspicious sensors? They (can) work without Domoticz, either via the controller if you have it still on despite shutting down Domoticz and the connection could be even directly between the nodes so that even the controller does not need...
