Re: Weekly programming

Great job, this seems like a great feature for Domoticz. Why it is not merged with the master branch?

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)

Can you please give the new version of Pilot (2.4.2) a try, see if it fixes your issue? You might have to delete your existing shortcuts first. Hi, can you fix the watch app for selector switches? I'm seeing the base64 encoded levels on my watch. It would also be very neat to have a complications o...

Re: Python Plugin: Chromecast

I just have released version 3.0.1. You can now update the hardware without the need to restart domoticz. Devices which are no longer needed are automatically deleted Any ideas about this: Thanks for the plugin! Seems to work (I'm not using the notification, at least so far) but the only thing I wo...

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?

Checked again now that I'm home, from command line: LOGITECH WEB SERVICE LOGIN : BYPASSED HARMONY COMMUNICATION LOGIN : SUCCESS HARMONY COMMAND SUBMISSION : SUCCESS null Way back when I used the original HamonyHubControl I remember I had to use a .sh wrapper. Then I moved on to HamonyHubCLI (node) a...

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?

When I run that it usually says `BYPASSED` on the web service login, so my guess is that when you run it from LUA you are unable to access the file where the authorization token is kept (HarmonyHub.AuthorizationToken) and you are also not allowed to create/write one following the successful web ser...

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?

The library integrated in Domoticz can be found HERE and you can either use that to create your own interface or compile it as is for script access. Hi, I've successfully used the library for a couple of months and still can use it just fine form command line, but when I run it through Domoticz lua...

Re: Z-Stick: All devices suddenly timeout

Not quite as bad, but I'm seeing something quite similar. A lot of timeout notifications for z-wave devices (mainly magnetic switches and PIR's) but still they seem to work normally (show if motion is detected and if a door is open). I also have Aeotec z-stick gen 5 and running Domoticz v. 4.10241.

Re: On FOR 10

You could also use this: commandArray[1]={['MyOtherDeviceName4']='On'} commandArray[2]={['MyOtherDeviceName4']='Off AFTER 600'} In the older versions of Domoticz, a retrigger within those 600 seconds will result in a reset of the 600 second timer. The newer versions however, don't as far as I know ...

Re: Python Plugin: Chromecast

Thanks for the plugin! Seems to work (I'm not using the notification, at least so far) but the only thing I wonder is why I get this in my log:

Code: Select all

.../json.htm?type=command&param=getuservariable&idx= did not return any results.
Variable is created so not sure what is missing...:)

Re: How to reconfigure a Zwave device (Neo Coolcam Siren) with a script?

Solved! After the change with the local network number in the settings/system/"Local Networks (no username/password) field", the Siren_Doorbell group works perfectly Good to hear! :) Username / password was something that crossed my mind but as you said it was working on the browser I deemed it to ...

Re: [Solved] Re: Bug: Variable in Blockly would change automatically another Z-Wave device which is not in the Blockly

Thank you very much my friend, it's working perfectly! Case closed! :D Good that it is working now! :) But I think there was a slight misunderstanding earlier: It's strange that there is the possibility in Domoticz to change a Variable in a Blocky but actually it's forbidden because it give errors....

Re: Bug: Variable in Blockly would change automatically another Z-Wave device which is not in the Blockly

I don't think there's any real validation in Blockly so that it would inform when the syntax is incorrect. What comes to Domoticz user variables it seems there's actually no type boolean, please see https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/User_variables for more details. As it says there, all variables are st...

Re: Error: Error opening url:

If I change something in a z-wave device's configuration through the GUI, there's the info popup saying that the change can take some time and quite often I've noticed that it really takes a few minutes to see the change in the settings. So are you sure it does not eventually change? 32256 might be ...

Re: Bug: Variable in Blockly would change automatically another Z-Wave device which is not in the Blockly

Strange indeed. But it might be related to your attempt to set a variable On and Off. I think you cannot do that. Depending on the variable type (string, int, boolean), you need to set a string, number or true/false as its status. My guess is that trying to set a the variable to On/Off (something yo...

Re: Error: Error opening url:

Hmm, maybe something to do with url encoding/decoding. For example, %3D refers to equal ( = ) sign. Maybe you need to use = instead of %3D or then url encode the whole url. I remember I had difficulties with &-sign at some point. One option is to put the url in bash script and use e.g. curl to call ...

Then I guess the only option is to go back here: https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/blob/b11aff2a59bd80c9e41cca7e97816a96de618116/main/EventSystem.cpp#L1502 and try to determine the reason for the error message to see if it would help in finding the root cause for the problems. If I understand it ...

Re: Lua 'On AFTER...' not working since upgrade to v3.8153

That’s basically the way to do it. But if the idea is to use this with scenes I think you are out of luck - they cannot be turned off (a scene sets the devices to target status, but is not able to ”reverse” the status). You should use groups instead :)
