Re: Revogi Smart PowerStrip compatibility

I think we need someone to build a python plugin (I also can provide access to a real power strip). there are some guidance from HA project on https://gist.github.com/thejacko12354/d ... 68c2d1b9f1

It seems very easy to build a python plugin!

Re: Google Home - Node Red = TTS

Thank you Bradds for answer. I have no idea about this setup. My request is kind different as I want to use GH to perform automatic notifications. For example if CO2 is higher that 1000ppm, to send a tts on GH and warn me to open window for fresh air, or warn for a forgotten bathroom light was left ...

Re: Control LED RGB = Potentiometer by Blocky ondomoticz

I think you need to change the script from "ALL" to "Device" (it is under the blocky selection)

Google Home - Node Red = TTS

Hi @ all, I try to build a virtual device with a text sensor that can be used as an input to node-red using the google-home-notification node. It is too easy to install and use node-red so comparing to other implementations it did not require a middleware to send the tts to google home. My issue is ...

MQTT parse to domoticz/out when text changed

I try to build a script that sends a text to Google home when the value of text sensor is changed. On wiki ( http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/DzVents:_next_generation_LUA_scripting ), I could not find a answer about text changes. Also I like to ask if there is included a function to call directly MQTT a...

Re: Automation Control Panel

The key is the semi-auto: We need a script that a human action (a button press) can take control of the "switch" and override any automation related with this "switch".

Automation Control Panel

The problem: I have a problem with some switches that are returning on previous status if they are selected to been activated by another sensor (for example my shaders get LUX measurements and if I try to change their status by hand, after a while they change back to the status according to LUX sens...

Re: ideAlarm v2.1.0 released (A dzVents alarm environment)

Thank you for sharing this nice piece of code! I like to suggest a small change: You use 2 different switches for Arm Home/Arm Away. As most of us we get less space on screen for extra switches and as I imagine there is no logic to get ARM HOME and ARM AWAY active on same time, can you put both on s...

Re: Python plugin: Mikrotik RouterOS [bw usage monitor]

Thank you all for this plugin!
it was the gift I was waiting for so long. My question is if also displays status of this interface (active/disabled/disconnected) so to trigger another device/script.

Re: Multi value custom sensor

+1 I like to get a custom multi sensors device. I face the issue with a fridge that I want to get as "device" in one place. For example the door of fridge was recognized as switch, internal temp/hum found on temperature tab and power usage on utility tab....what a mess!

thermostat setpoint negative values

As it says, it did not support negative values as they required for fridges, equipment cooling and many other appliances

Re: Siemens/Bosch Home Connect Ecosystem

FHEM First we need to install fhem. it uses 8083/8084/8085 ports for web interface so we are safe if we use default 8080 port on domoticz. Read on installation section howto: https://fhem.de/ after we need to telnet on machine that fhem has been installed on port 7072. after follow the following lin...

Re: Siemens/Bosch Home Connect Ecosystem

(Yes I am back!) I like to share the experience with Home Connect platform. We can use it, passing data from HomeConnect API -> FHEM->Node-red (MQTT) -> Domoticz. It is long story and many things are required to get communication with FEHM community. I will try to build a howto step by step on futur...

I know that is looks harder using config files. It was something I can live with that as the list of automation is big and as it run in python will be massive at the end. I hope to build an application to manage this more easily

Home Assistant.
it took me much less time to add most of my devices/services (and others that not connected to domoticz). I still hope to find a way to add my air condition which is very limited support.

It is time to move my home automation one step further. I like to thank all these people that helped me with minor or major issues on my installation, inspired me, shared their ideas. Re: Xiaomi Small Square Smart Camera Fang Hack

Hi guys!
I have this camera some days and I tested the following hack

https://github.com/samtap/fang-hacks

There is no static image that can be used but it supports rtsp. I know domoticz do not like rtsp but it is something that can be used on 3rd party software.

Re: Midea/Inventor (and other brand) Air Condition API

I have a loxone home automation and want to control the AC (got three of them). Loxone is a small locally installed server that is able to send TCP, UDP or HTTP commands. So it should nearly be the same way of getting it working with loxone as getting it working with domoticz. Anyway, I contacted s...
