https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... des/msd.md

Re: Domoticz app 2.0

I don't need the Premium app as the Lite version covers everything I need, however I have just bought it just to support the devs

Re: LightwaveRF won't turn off

It's a new problem as I tried to add new items today and mine did the same. I never had this problem before. I recently had an update to V2.3530 and it wasn't a problem before the update.

Re: Anyone using/designed a Raspberry Pi UPS?

Yes I understand that it is a UPS that could keep my system powered for two and a half hours then shut my system down safely. My setup should last for twelve hours but then crash the system. I keep backups of my db and scripts so a restore shouldn't be an issue. Most power cuts that I experience onl...

Re: watermeter Elster V200 PR6P:1

I've ordered a couple of sensors from China to hopefully work with my gas meter as it looks the same kind of dial as your water meter. Nothing to lose it this price, LOL. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LJ12A3-4-Z-BY-Inductive-Proximity-Sensor-Detection-Switch-PNP-DC6-36V-12MM-WST-/301024043940?pt=UK_BOI_...

Re: Anyone using/designed a Raspberry Pi UPS?

My batteries and "UPS" arrived today. I went for the one from China. Cheap as chips and charging the batteries just now, I'll install it on my Pi in the loft tomorrow. I just gave it a quick test using my phone. Plugged phone into the output and also plugged in the charger, phone indicates charging....

Re: Events system feedback thread

@mbliek, Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the os.execute('sleep 300') doesn't appear to be a usable option as the system basically froze for those 5 minutes. Surely there must be some sort of on delay after all we have off delays on the switches side. Seems a simple option but not so easy to impl...

Re: Events system feedback thread

I have a LUA query for implementing a "Delay ON" function commandArray = {} if (devicechanged['Boiler on/off'] == 'Off' then Wait 5 mins <<<<<<how do I do that part?? commandArray['Boiler off only']='On' end return commandArray This way every time my boiler turns off via the device timer, it will wa...

@Commodore white, I have just found that book too, in PDF. I might give it a glance through when I get time :)

Re: Android app

Any idea when you will be launching the app in the Play Store? OK I've installed it today and it works. However I have one small issue. I have 3 switches as per the screenshots below. The boiler on/off switch activates the relay to turn on the boiler. The 30 and 60 minute timer switches have a 4 sec...

Anyone using/designed a Raspberry Pi UPS?

I am using my Raspberry Pi as a server for my Domoticz Home Automation project. This got me thinking is there a UPS that can be used/designed as the load of the Pi is low, maybe incorporating 4 off AA rechargeables? I wouldn't think it should cost much or be overly complicated. This would be ideal f...

Blocky code events or LUA script?

At the moment I have just been playing with blocky code events to do what I want (basic on/offs and timers, just learning).
Is there a benefit to using one method over the other? Does one function quicker etc?

Re: ELV Max! Heating control system

My MAX! rad valves and cube arrived yesterday. I set them all up last night although one valve was DOA and a second one has a RF problem. Once I have let it settle in for a few days I may venture into this as well. Currently I have my boiler controlled by an in-line relay in parallel with the boiler...
