Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4

Another question, why use 2 status blocks for power and usage?
I'd prefer it to be one, like:

Now it looks like:

Spyhole/Peephole camera?

Hello all, Does any of you have a working solution for a peephole camera connected to Domoticz? Preferably battery operated, camera only, motion detection, and some way to be able to send notifications out. There are a lot of options available on ali express, but it would be nice if anyone has any t...

Alternatively you can use OpenDNS, and have it block certain categories, like adult sites.

you wont get any feedback from that switch. I suggest you use few $ more to buy wifi sonoff :)
True, but it's really cheap and looks nice.
If you have a RFLink/RFXCom, it's just like any other remote controlled lamp.

I just ordered one including remote for < 10$ at Geekbuying. I'll check if I can get it to work with RFLink.
Works out of the box with RFLink, the remote is detected as EV1527.

Re: Broadlink SPS3 smart socket support?

hi there Hesmink, This sounds like great project with the budget power monitor from Broadlink. I also ordered it already. Perhaps you can tell us more how you managed to get the values in Domoticz with Python? I used the code from the link I posted, but with the modifications of this user: https://...

Re: Broadlink SPS3 smart socket support?

Received it, and it works!

I can switch it on/off using python, and read the power value.
I'm going to use it for my dryer with the 'washing cycle' script.

Broadlink SPS3 smart socket support?

Hi All, I just ordered a Broadlink sps3 smart socket with powermonitoring from aliexpress. It's the cheapest 16A supporting socket with power monitoring I ever found (€ 18,95, free shipping). Does anybody already put one of these in Domoticz? Should't be that hard, I found a python library supportin...

Re: Watermeter lezen met raspberry en Inductieve NPN sensor

Never realised it would put 5v on the gpio pin.
On the bright side, the rpi still works fine after doing this a few months.

Re: System Alive Checker (Ping) not reliable?

Is this reported as a bug? For me its still not working I have a computer that reports to be "on" but when I ping it from my Pi I get "Destination Host Unreachable" How is this "system alive check" checking the IP? It's using ping (icmp), so should get the same results as the ping utility. IMO the ...

Hi All,

What is the expected battery life of a mini NUT when used in this presence detection method?

Re: System Alive Checker (Ping) not reliable?

Honest answer: I only focused on the ping action itself, and indeed the ping timeout is the actual time the pinger waits for a reply.
I can guess about the rest but I'm not sure.

Re: Kamstrup Multical 402 Python Script

So, in your case you use the 'simple' protocol, and not the KMP protocol.
My modifications are for the KMP protocol, since that works for my Kampstrup.

Confusing, that 2 protocols are used for the same type of hardware.
