Re: Dashticz - Module - Calendar

Thanks, allthough according git pull everything is up to date, I see that I have in /dashboard/vendor/dashticz only the folder ical, while the zip of Rob shows afval and tv as well. I added the additional folders to the dashticz folder and pointed towards that accordingly (192.168.x.x/dashticz/dashb...

Re: Dashticz - Module - Calendar

I have the same problem. I also have afval kalender enabled and that is working perfect with the local php. How did you get the 'afval kalender' block working again? Mine doesn't work, but it possibly has to do with both ther server shutdown and HVC who changed access to their data some weeks ago. ...

Re: Dashticz - Module - Calendar

I'm running the latest beta and did add the extra line to config.js (config['calendar_parse_localy']=true;) However, Dashticz doesn't show the calendar. In the root of /var/www/html I have the file phpinfo.php. When I run that file from the browser, it returns me the information abot php. Therefore ...

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat

@alfpresa, thanks for your appreciation. I am afraid your suggestion of proportional vs. binary (on/off) heating control will be difficult to implement: it would require a totally different logic than what the plugin is based on. In my Domoticz system I also have an OTGW (Opentherm Gateway) impleme...

NeoMod wrote: I hope they will soon fix the issue. Update via ssh works but requires a full reboot after each new update.
Why the full reboot? ./updatebeta will start the domoticz service by itself. If not, simply run:
sudo service domoticz start

Other options are:
status
stop
restart

Re: Compute the thermal characteristics of your house

Very interesting! Since last winter I use the Python software virtual thermostat SVT from the forum. There where the physical iSense thermostat gives quite long temperature dips, the SVT gives a nice temperature slope towards setpoint and stays there. It also calculates with a self learning heat los...

Re: Compute the thermal characteristics of your house

Do you assume that all heat in the house is generated by a measurable energy source? In my case, with a very large window on south-west orientation, we benefit a lot of the sunshine in early spring and fall. Therefore a calculation will quite often not be fair. On other days the temperature in the l...

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat

Similar question: what happens if the target temperature changes over day? Does the learning persist? Thanks. The target temperature has nothing to do with the learning. Just read the description on the plug-in page. The learning is all about the room characteristics and those are applicable for al...

Re: Dashticz - Module - Garbage collector

For the moment I am back to the old guesswork: put the garbage containter outside with the same color as those from some early neighbours.

Rob, your help to include the changed script into the 'garbage-code' on your server, is more and more welcome every passing day.

Re: Python plugin: Kodi

@jake, Have you tried a more recent beta (along with the new version of the plugin from github)? I'm not seeing any crashes with 2 Kodi's. I'm still running a beta from before the last stable. I am a bit hesitant to upgrade the OS from Jessie to Stretch, since some programs have (possibly had) issu...

Re: Dashticz - General Discussions

/* CUSTOM CSS FILE */ .far.fa-lightbulb { color:#F1C300; } .fas.fa-lightbulb { color:#fff; } Thanks, that did the trick. However, I think you turned 'far' and 'fas around. I changed it back and now the 'off' light is a dim white off-light bulb and the 'on' light is a bright orange on-light: .fas.fa...

Re: Dashticz - General Discussions

The version of FontAwesome is changed to newer version. You have to change fa to fas. fas fa-bell For an overview of all fonts: https://fontawesome.com/icons?d=gallery&m=free Thanks, this did the trick. However, my yellow 'light 'on'' icons don't work anymore. I assume it has to do with the custom....

@robgeerts, can you please have a look at the changed HVC request? Since the old method is offline for some weeks now, I start to realize how much I liked it in the first place!
Thanks in advance.

It's strange and I don't find any parameter and I know it's work because with my old install domoticz with same firmware but another rpi it's ok. Helllp please restart Domoticz. Sometime...

This is really too bad. PWS from all over the world were connected to this one service. Now for sure it will scatter the data over many different alternatives. What a bummer!

Re: DS1820 temp sensor

Hello, I'm trying to use a DS1820 temp sensor hooked up to my Raspberry PI's GPIO. I've got it hooked up and seemingly working, and as the wiki promises, I can see that the sensor has been added in the log. But it's not in my devices. I'm not sure where to go from here. If anybody can help I'd appr...
