Re: Virtual meter that is the sum of two other meters

Hi, The 1 and 2 refer to the commandArray[x] values. If you only update one value when running the script then this value can be 1. If you chose to update 2 or more values then they all need their own commandArray[x] value. Otherwise only the last commandArray value will be updated. Your script look...

Re: Virtual meter that is the sum of two other meters

Hi, I've also done something similar. I've a number of power clamps monitoring power into my main consumer unit, outside consumer unit plus I have a feed from my SunnyBoy solar. I use these to indicate via a dummy power devices the instantaneous usage (Kw) and historical (Kwh). The devices indicate ...

Re: Change colour of an icon dynamically

I use the following code for changing the background of a opened door block, it gives the block a certain div class depending on the value. Then in the CSS you can define the div class styles. Maybe with a bit of playing around you can get it to work for your case? Got the info from the Wiki Hi, th...

Change colour of an icon dynamically

Guys, I'm moving on with my screens but I want to change the colour of an icon in a block depending on conditions (e.g. temperature) I'm not expert in js / css but I'll have a go :) If I have an icon, say fa-bolt I can permanently change the colour using css and defining .fa-bolt {color:rgba(10,20,3...

Re: Dashticz - General Discussions

You might need to specify the icons for the blocks with an underscore, for example: blocks['35_1'] = {'icon': 'fa-sun-o'}; The power devices usually have multiple blocks per idx and I think the icon is only checked per sub-block. Bang on the money - thanks. I'd tried blocks[35_1] = {'icon': 'fa-sun...

Re: Dashticz - General Discussions

** SOLVED ** morning guys, I've just started on my Dashticz odyssey and I'm doing OK after a few false starts. I've hit an issue that has me stumped at the moment relating to dummy devices. I want to do my 'notifications' by manipulating the icon rather than changing the background or similar. Using...

Re: [REQUEST] Ikea Trådfri Gateway (smart lights hub controller) plugin?

Hi,
been playing with it and notice that the actual status is not reflected in Domoticz.
i.e. turn on via Domoticz but turn off via Tradfri control, Domoticz still thinks it is on.
Is this usual behaviour?

Don't mean to be picky, just asking. :)

Re: [REQUEST] Ikea Trådfri Gateway (smart lights hub controller) plugin?

Hi Moroen, all sorted, your mention of beta was all it needed. Wasn't aware I had to be on a beta build for it to work. Changed to beta channel, updated and all sorted! Sorry to have troubled you. It's looking good, thanks for the plugin - much appreciated. Off to add the items to my lua scripts now...

Re: [REQUEST] Ikea Trådfri Gateway (smart lights hub controller) plugin?

Hi Moroen, thought I'd grab some Ikea lamps and give your plugin a go. I'm hitting an issue that I hope you can shine some light on. Installed libcoap (to /opt/ikea/libcoap/ if it matters) Added pytradfri and your scripts to /home/domoticz/plugins/IKEA-Tradfri/ (Running Debian Jessie on a non Pi box...

Debian, unable to detect mysensors on USB

Guys, I'm using Domoticz on a Pi at the moment but as I'm in the process of setting up zomeminder on Debian I thought I'd swing over Domoticz at the same time. Installed domoticz fine, RFX433 appears when I plug it in - all good. However, I'm using a arduino nano as my mysensors gateway and I'm not ...

Just found this: https://www.homegear.eu/index.php/Main_Page Replaces Max! cube completely If someone could make that work that would be great! Right now im suffering of loss of connection with the cube around every 5-10 hours. Pulling the power plug and reconnecting it gets things going again. But...

Re: Using BROADLINK RM2 on DOMOTICZ

Hi,

device = broadlink.rm(host=("192.168.1.110",80), mac=bytearray.fromhex("B4430DEEE880"))

should do it for you, I've not got access to my Pi ATM so I can't check.

ATB

Kevin

Edit;
just checked and assuming your IP and MAC are correct then the syntax is good to go.

Re: Using BROADLINK RM2 on DOMOTICZ

Hi, your broadlink looks like it has installed fine. I'm guessing your issue is device = broadlink.rm(host=("<your RM3 IP address>",80), mac=bytearray.fromhex("<your RM3 mac>")) You need to replace <your RM3 IP address> with the IP address of the broadlink unit and the same with the mac for <your RM...
