Re: Permanent storage of high resolution data

It's not that hard to use a part of pass2php for this: script_device_pass2php.lua (goes in the lua scripts folder): for d,s in pairs(devicechanged) do os.execute('curl -X POST -d "d='..d.."&s="..s..'" http://127.0.0.1/secure/pass2php.php &') end commandArray={} return commandArray The lua script pos...

Re: Permanent storage of high resolution data

It all depends on what you exactly want to store. Do you want to store temps in realtime in a table with idx and temp? Or like me one record every minute with all temps in one record? It may be even possible to not use pass2php at all, just a json request of a roomplan. Loop thru the results in php ...

Re: Darksky http-error after update?

This is not a Domoticz issue. There are problems at Darksky.
I pull the data myself with PHP and about half of my request result in error.

What's the problem with repeated on signals?
I find that even good, that way the lastupdate of the pir is updated.

Re: Script to restart Domoticz if it crashes

If you add more devices I would definitely recommend using a roomplan for this. They are easy to create and maintain.
Also if more devices are added later you just have to add them to the roomplan without need to change the script.

Re: How can i get last state of device ?

In pass2php I store all states in php caches. That way I can compare the new state with the previous state.

Re: Script to restart Domoticz if it crashes

Why did you change the json url? now you only get the status of one device. No point of looping thru the result then. If you don't want to use a roomplan to combine the 2 devices in 1 json call you can combine them in 1 script. prefered way: http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=150389#p1496...

Re: Script to restart Domoticz if it crashes

Does the script works if you execute "/usr/bin/php /home/pi/PHP/php_ESP8266C_91_reboot.php" ?
What's in those php files?

Re: Setting up a RAM drive on Raspberry Pi ! (when use source domoticz)

That why I sayed set /var/log as tmpfs, you made /tmp/log of it...
If you have /var/log as tmpfs all logfiles from debian are instantly on tmpfs and not on SD.
You can empty the files with the truncate -s 0 command, logrotate or a simple reboot.

Re: Setting up a RAM drive on Raspberry Pi ! (when use source domoticz)

Now you have the domoticz logfile in /tmp/log, are all other logfiles also there? Normally debian has it's logfiles in /var/log

They can't, don't worry.
Without port forwarding you're 100% safe.
With port forwarding you must set a good user/password combo and only use https. On top of that use fail2ban to block failed login attempts immediately.

Re: Setting up a RAM drive on Raspberry Pi ! (when use source domoticz)

The db file is the actual database with all current devices and their statusses. The shm and wal files are temporary files of sqlite3 containing journal and transactions. You can only make them smaller with the vacuum sql command but I suppose domoticz does that reguraly. Keep in mind that database ...

Re: Pass2PHP

File based is a little bit slower than apcu but almost not measurable in pass2php. For my floorplan I read about 80 caches, there the time needed is 3msec for apcu, 6msec for file based. So maybe 3msec divided by 80 is the speed difference between apcu en file. And I made a huge error, it's not on J...
