Re: Temp sensors suddenly recognized as Temp+Hum

Same story here... I updated Domoticz on September 23th to version 4.10007. Several weeks later, on November 17th, one of my Fibaro smoke detectors (badkamer_temp) stopped reporting temperature. When I looked in the device table a new device was added: https://i.imgur.com/8QtY3eW.png In my case not ...

Re: how to override your HA brain?

I do that with pass2php and my php floorplan :-D I'll try to explain in short: All logic of blinds and heating use a variable stored in php. If the variable is 1 then the automatic functionality is used. When the variable is 0 it's manual. The variable is set to 0 when setting a blind to a certain p...

Re: Z-wave dead nodes

I would try placing them a bit further from each other. Something like > 50 cm.
Radio interference is a pain and difficult to find the exact cause.

Re: Control temperature based on sensors with TRV (Domoticz like smart thermostat)

If you start scripting you can do whatever you can imagine ;) For example: I have 6 virtual thermostats. All of them are easily controlled on my floorplan and all of them have a schedule. The schedule is different for at home, away or a sleep. When changing the temp on the floorplan the schedule is ...

Re: Several Z-Wave issues/questions with different devices

First, never enable polling on a battery powered device. Second, always read the manual. Each manual starts with 'Read the manual before installing'... Search the smoke detector that beeps and look at the light color when it does, that'll explain why it's beeping. Could be low battery or lack of z-w...

Remove the second one from the dashboard, you only need to set one.
Let the second follow the setting of the first plus the difference.

Just set the second valve 0,5 or 1 degree higher than the other. Problem solved 😁

Re: Node value does not refresh automatically

Could it be that your cron stops because of some kind of authentication in ozwcp?
I mean : open the url in a browser where you didn't open domoticz before. It'll show a blank page.
If I remember correctly you first need to curl the zwave hardware page before calling ozwcp.

Re: Garagedoor

May I suggest you think twice about the security of this? Do you really want to open your house with a klik aan klik uit device?
I actually did the opposite. The power of my garage door opener is switched off. The opener only gets power for 3 minutes when I push the home button on my floorplan.

Re: Pass2PHP

apcu_fetch($name) should return a number. Can you check the Current State in domoticz (in the events window)? Did you add the name of the dimmer to the array in the pass2php file? elseif(in_array($device,array('eettafel','zithoek','kamer','tobi','alex','Xvol','Rliving','Rbureel','RkeukenL','RkeukenR...

Re: Fibaro smoke detector

I don't use the temp alarm. Created my own one in pass2php : if one of the rooms is hotter than 25 degrees and 5 degrees hotter than the average of the house I receive alarm on my iPhone. That way I receive a alarm much faster than a fixed temp.

Re: Send zwave command twice?

In pass2php I have a function for that. Just use double instead of sw as command.
You could first try to raise the timeout and see if it makes a difference.

Re: Zwave blinds, stop

To avoid the motor of overheating or somekind similar due to an obstacle you can also finetune parameter 22. Motor operation time. Then, at least the motor won’t be powered for 4 minutes. Set it to couple of seconds longer than it takes.

Re: Zwave blinds, stop

You just need to avoid sending a command when the obstacle is there.
I have a movable stair that goes up/down with a roller shutter motor. The stair needs to pass a window. You can’t control the stair from floorplan or remote when the window is open.

Re: Zwave blinds, stop

The fgr222 can be used as a percentage device, then you don't need a stop.
