Re: zwcfg xml file missing

Yes this file should be created if it is not there. Not sure about the file location, but check the domoticz installation folder, and then inside the 'Config' folder

Re: 2 Zwave usb in paralell (EU and US)

It is not possible to use more then two openzwave hardware types as the driver is not made for this You could buy a second raspberry pi for this. Also take note of what Antwan is saying, you are not allowed to use the EU frequency in your country. If it will jam anything, and they measure that it or...

Re: How to add support for a new Z-Wave device

If you read the manual of the node, you might see a section about 'groups', there is a lifeline group (most times group 1, but not always!)
Make sure the controller (node 1) is in the lifeline (from the dropdown groups/network)

Re: How to add support for a new Z-Wave device

If the node was included before, you need to exclude it... just set the node in the 'mode' and exclude from the domoticz dropdown
Maybe the type is compatible ? This is what the node tells openzwave

Re: How to add support for a new Z-Wave device

Sure, so when you make changes, you need to exclude your node, and include it again (after you restart the openzwave hardware, you do not need to restart the whole domoticz process, just disable the ozw hardware and enable it again)

Re: How to add support for a new Z-Wave device

That should be enough, and you have to restart domoticz.
Is the change accepted by openzwave ? If yes, we could update the library so it will be available in the next beta

Re: RaZberry V1 with latest firmware won't work with OZW

Razberry support has been dropped for some years now. You have to use the OpenZWave hardware now and select the serial port. It was hard to continue to support both and openzwave has support for many more hardware, also USB zwave devices that you can use in other non-raspberry systems. If you google...

Re: Windows HTTPS

You could start by 'not' running domoticz as a service. Next you go to the domoticz installation path, and open a console there. next you can type domoticz /? You should see all command line parameters supported next try to start domoticz with for example -sslwww 443 is there any error being display...

Problem was related to a patch in the gui (which hopefully will be redone)

@Nautilus, this seems like the Alecto WS-1200 https://www.alecto.nl/weerstation-1200 Got one myself, great device for this value! So if the original device does not work with the rtl_433, i think this one will not either. @mantoz:, try rtl_433 from the command line too else a RFXCom or RFLink will s...

Re: New ZWave network unstable (4.9999 beta)

The zwave stick has it's own memory and operates on it's own. There is no way that 'suddenly' you miss a node caused by a software application update

Re: Greenwave NP310-F and polling problems

My experience:
- whole zwave network stops working
- suddenly the light on the powernode blinks
- when you have a power loss, every powernode will turn on by default

(i have several powernode-5 nodes)

You just have to enable polling for this node.
I would not use greenwave products (sorry greenwave!) we have very bad experience with them

Re: Z-wave auto read switch status light

Could you check in the manual if there is a 'group' that notifies the controller that there are updates ?
For example this could be Group 3, in that case, from the OpenZWave setup, select Groups&Network from the dropdown,
and add Node 1 (the controller) to this group for that node

You could try my method described here on "Tue Aug 01, 2017 1:28 pm"
Seems to have worked for Eddy, seems also a logical step to perform

Re: Domoticz received fatal signal

If the stable also stops working, you have a problem in one of your device data.
Probably you update this device externally, and do not supply enough parameters.
I will send you a private message for a database debug request
