Re: Aeontec Home Energy Meter Gen5 100A reporting problems

I recently bought an Aeotec energy meter gen 5 60A, but that did not fit over the cable of my solar panels I wanted to measure, so I exchanged it for the 100A version which has a bigger clamp. Adding to Domoticz went fine, but I cannot get for the life of it to spew the right numbers. It reports Wa...

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products

Today i recieved my iHomecam Motion Sensors, hoping that they would be recognized in Domoticz. https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Z-wave-PIR-Motion-Sensor-Motion-Detector-Z-wave-plus-Sensor-Alarm-Smart-House-Home-Security/32818665201.html But as you might have guessed, they show up like this "Z-Wave+ n...

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products

Hi guys, I just made my own xml definitions for the Neo Coolcam NAS-SC 2 channel wall switch EU version because I can't find them on theOpen Zwave alliance site or Github. I am now able to switch off the LEDS. It's not exactly as described in the manual but I managed to switch them off. Here is the...

FYI, just provided xml for Neo Coolcam 1 channel light switch into openzwave. Should be in domoticz after Gizmocouz updates domoticz's database.

Re: Slow repsonse from devices - need to diagnose now.

There's some interesting information about this on http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=10702&p=106018&hilit=RetryTimeout#p106018 It comes down to this: could be that a retrytimeout of 1000msec works fine if you have small amount of devices. The more devices and traffic the longer the...

Re: Temp sensors suddenly recognized as Temp+Hum

I have four DS18B20 (temperature) sensors attached to an Fibaro FGBS-001 which were working good for several months. These were discovered as "Lacrosse TX3" which was correct. Now, suddenly these sensors stopped working. No more temperature values updates. I had a look at the devices and discovered...

What is worse, your Controller has also not recognized (0x0000) now. And yes, it cannot set back as NodeID=2 anymore.

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products

OK LouiS22, I already have power plugs and water leak sensors from NEO, giving me good results. Now, I'm extending my home automation system with motion sensors and door sensors. As I red, NEO devices have some parameters that can be adjusted contrary to Heiman ones. I have no issue for CR123A, CR2...

That doesn't cause the error. It's for protection of the GPIO. It's designed for 3.3v. Do you use sysfs. Make sure not to use Raspberry GPIO and sysfs GPIO combined in domoticz. The GPIO part outside domoticz is oké. You only have to focus on domoticz. 2017-09-03 20:10:00.929 EventSystem: Started 20...

Re: Watermeter lezen met raspberry en Inductieve NPN sensor

LouiS22, Connect the brown wire to 5v of the pi and Blue to the gnd. Connect black to a GPIO with a zener diode to convert the 5v to 3.3v. the GPIO needs 3.3v instead of 5v. Have you configured the sysfs export? sudo raspi-gpio set 21 ip pu echo "21" > /sys/class/gpio/export echo "1" | sudo tee -a ...

A Generic sysfs GPIO on/off icon water GPIO INIT ERROR :D I know I'm almost there, damn it. Rechecking everything again. Connected sensor as described in OP. When I'm placing a magnet near the sensor, the right led goes on (so I assume the sensor is ok). I've tried switching black and blue wires as...

1. Watermeter is the name of the virtual counter and GPIO Watermeter is the name of GPIO connected to the sensor 2. 34 is the idx of the virtual created counter Watermeter 3. Correct and you don't need cron job of unit.d everything is handled by domoticz Make sure to set LUA to DEVICE instead off A...

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products

On the other hand, Heiman's are using 2 AAA batteries (easier to replace, ie you can purchase them in every store), while NEO's using the not so common CR14250. This is not correct for all devices: Heiman HS1HT Smart temp. / hum sensor - CR2450 Heiman HS1MS Smart Motion Sensor - CR2450 Heiman HS1SA...
