Re: is this possible(hotelswitch)

When you take a closer look at the 1 gang switch, you will notice that it only gets power from the mains. There is no lightbulb connected to it. The 2 gang switch has both lightbulbs connected. So the 1 gang switch just tells the 2 gang switch to toggle the first switch. I do this with Tasmotized So...

Re: blockly else statement

If you want to run statement if none of the 'else if' branch evaluates to true, then just put an always true condition (with a user variable) in a last 'else if' branch. I tried this (Event - Blockly - All): https://www.familie-frans.nl/20180726/001.jpg It doesn't work. But the next one did (Event ...

Re: If is all time true

Create separate blocks: one for If x=a do something, one for If x=b do something else and a third one for If x = c do something new. And don’t use the If Do block with the blue square in the upper left corner when using single if/do statements. Keep the logic as simple as possible, the chances that ...

Try the other If Do block without the blue little square in the upper left corner.

But remove one of the = , because using “if >= 5” and “else if <= 5” would be nasty when usage = 5. ;)

Re: Xiaomi motion sensor blocky not working

Just to give a little more info: within the same day it can’t be after 21:45 AND earlier than 04:00 at the same time. That’s why it doesn’t work and you need to change the AND to OR. When you’re not sure why some scripts don’t work, try to make it as simple as possible by using 1 if statement, and w...

Check if the firewall on ubuntu accepts incoming traffic on port 8080, or whatever port you set in domoticz for its webinterface.

Re: Help needed with script

To me, the blockly in the first post looks valid. “Can’t make it work” is too little info. Which part isn’t working? What does the log say at those specific moments that something should happen? For example: the log should say that the script has run at 00:00. Between 00:00 and 00:15 it should menti...

Re: blockly script, but the time option does not work ?

Try simplifying your blockly. The “if else/if” block without an else/if usualy doesn’t work. And the second “and” won’t work, because time cannot be “> 22:30 AND < 08:00”. Create a blockly for the first period (>22:30 and <23:59), then create a second blockly for the second period (>00:00 and <08:00).

Re: blockly no logic reaction

Somehow I predicted that response. We also don’t see why it’s not working as it is now. It’s not always clear why things don’t work. And then I normally fall back to trial and error. I try to avoid the Elseif functionality myself whenever I can and make a seperate blockly for every single if stateme...

Re: Blocky notification sens every minute a notificaiton

Create a virtual switch, set it to On when sending the message and have the send message part check is the switch is On. If Off then send message. Check hum every minute. If hum < desired set virtual switch to Off.

Instead of a virtual switch you could use a uservariable.

Re: Automatically sunscreen down temperature

I think the time setting is correct. It says > 09:00 and < 21:00, so for example 10:34 is > 09:00 and < 21:00. If you change the AND to OR, it will always be true, because any time after 09:00 will be > 09:00 and any time before 09:00 will be < 21:00.

Re: Doorbell default status in floorplan is “on”

Hi, A doorbell does not stop ringing as a response to an Off signal. When it receives an On signal it will ring once. To get it to ring again, you send another On signal. From the Switches tab you are not able to send an Off signal to a doorbell. But clicking the icon on the floorplan wants Domoticz...

Re: Problem with script

Problem with the OR statements in your script, is that if rainfall > 2 and rain expected is off, then the first rule wants to set the variable to 1 because of the rainfall, but then it gets to the second rule that wants to set the variable back to 0 because rain expected is off.

Just fyi. ;)
