Re: Nexa temperature sensor

Setup - Hardware, look for the line with your rfxcom in it and press “Set mode”. Select the necessay protocol (don’t know what is the correct one) and click “Set Mode”.

Re: Temperature event doesn't work

Hi, as mentioned in different topics, blockly doesn't act based on just a temperature sensor. You need to add for example a time statement. I've made a blockly like this: https://www.familie-frans.nl/20180402/20.jpg ... and I watched my testswitch switching to On for 1 minute, as shown is this littl...

Re: Retrieve setpoint and temp from evohome

The WIKI shows an example of retrieving wheaterstation data: sWeatherTemp, sWeatherHumidity, sWeatherUV, sWeatherPressure, sWeatherUV2 = otherdevices_svalues['Weerstation']:match("([^;]+);([^;]+);([^;]+);([^;]+);([^;]+)") You define several variables from an output that holds multiple values. I thin...

Re: [90] MQTT Support

@GCB2016 Maybe this little tutorial can help. It's probably not the best or most efficient solution, but it works for me. ;) First, your msg.payload needs to be converted into a json object. Put a json block between the mqtt node and the debug node like this: https://www.familie-frans.nl/20180402/01...

Re: Switch to control 3 receivers (433MHz)

If you have a transmitter that is controlling a receiver directly, you want Domoticz to change it in the GUI too. But it must not send a signal, because it could switch the receiver again. In this scenario you set the transmitter as a slave. This info used to be in the manual, but I cannot find it a...

Re: Switch to control 3 receivers (433MHz)

A sub/slave device only updates the status of the master switch in the GUI of Domoticz. It does not send a signal.

Re: Blockly not workng on remote, only manual

Hi,

does the light turn on when you push On on the keychain? Check the log what is happening when you push Off. And show it on this forum, including your blockly. Otherwise it’s hard to troubleshoot.

Re: Creating a toggle switch

Could it be that the sender sends a signal multiple times in a very short period? That would explain the loop imho. Perhaps delaying the action could prevent it? Something like If signal then toggle light after 5 seconds? Just thinking out loud. ;)

Re: Creating a toggle switch

Have you tried it yet? I suppose that after selecting a scene, the device is not continuously sending a signal. So in my opinion your own suggestion for the blockly is correct. But as I don’t know the exact function of the switch, it is a presumption.

Re: reset kaku module

In case you have learned the code from 3 remotes, none of the codes are learned by Domoticz and you’ve lost all remotes, maybe you should contact customer service of that product. If you can add a code from another remote, you could do that and follow the instructions on how to reset the receiver. I...

Re: Light switch does switch off, but then on again, and off, .... please help

Sorry, I don’t. 06:00 is not mentioned in the script, so it should not fire at that time. You could check the log if it really is this script that is triggered at 6. It also shows which part of the script did the trick. Maybe it’s an idea to split the blockly in 3 seperate blockly events, but it doe...

Re: Question about LUA and Help to build Lua script

Hi, Let me share my thoughts on this, just to feed yours. ;) I suppose Domoticz can check if RGBW is On of Off, so doing something when it is On is not that hard to configure. In my opinion the hard part is if the trigger is only triggered once within a specific period of time. So your first IF stat...

Re: Blockly event does not get fired.

As far as I know, the changing state of a variable does not trigger an event. Try making it an On/Off dummy switch and have that sending a message when it is turned on.

Re: MQTT Tagging Crashes

You’re welcome. Start trying it with 1 switch and if it satisfies your needs you can continu to create dummy switches for every switch you can control with a different (physical) switch besides domoticz. It can be a lot of work, but only you know if it’s worth it.

Re: MQTT Tagging Crashes

Okay, I think I’m getting the picture. The wall switch triggers nodered and nodered sends a command to domoticz, which sends a command to nodered that triggers nodered to the light gateway. You only want to update the status of the switch within domoticz whenever the wall switch is used. That is whe...
