MySensors MQTT Gateway publishes on domoticz/out topic

Lately I noticed that Domoticz publishes the status of the devices on the MQTT domoticz/out topic twice . After investigation I found out that this is because not only the "MQTT Client Gateway" does publish (as expected), but also the MySensors MQTT Gateway. I have left the settings of the MySensors...

Re: No counter T2 for P1 meter energy report

Usage is calculated by subtracting the first measurement of the day from the last one. If there are no disturbances this means that you always miss 5 minutes of usage. Yes in theory it is possible to use the last measurement of the previous day instead of the first one of the current day, but consi...

Re: No counter T2 for P1 meter energy report

Yes and I would also like to know how the usage is calculated, as I do not understand how that is done from the counter values.

Nog log displayed for Lightning "dimmer"-devices

Mmm, I see that this does not work indeed with the push-on/off but also with the doorbell-type switches, but only for lightning type devices, no problems with Zwave.

No counter T2 for P1 meter energy report

Domoticz Version: V4.10171 Platform: Raspberry 2B, Stretch For a while now I am using the P1 smart meter interface to get the information from my smart energy meter. It uses a high and a low tarief, so it provides 2 Counters (T1 and T2). However if I look in the monthly report, I see one the counter...

Nog log displayed for Lightning "dimmer"-devices

Starting a few beta's ago, I have noticed that for some devices the display of the log graph is no longer working. If you select this you get an empty screen, see below. It looks like only Lightning dimmer-type devices are affected. If I change the type to e.g. door contact, the log does work again!...

Re: Database restore not working 100% on beta

I already reported this on an earlier beta version, see this post.
I just tested again, and this bus is still present in Domoticz V4.10076.

Re: machinon theme

Hi, I like this theme, especially the dark mode. Great work!

One thing I don't like so much is that, even in dark mode the top header with the Machinon logo remains blue.
Can this be removed somehow without losing the great search/filter facility with the gearbox in the top-left?

Not enough digit positions for Watermeters counts > 10.000 m3

Version: 4.10038 beta (but also latest stable) Platform: RPI2B Strech My watermeter reports per Liter and the total amount used counter is in m3. So this basically works fine and the counter device (type "RFXMeter counter", type "Water") shows the total counter as "xxx.yyy m3" That''s nice, because ...

Re: water ecodevice no more graphes

I can confirm this bug. I have also found out that it is only the device type “Watermeter” which does this. If you change it to a “Counter” type, the graphs automatically appear again!

Restore Database gives Fatal signal 6

Version: Domoticz V4.10022 (and a couple of versions earlier) Platform: Raspberry 2B on Stretch. No Plugins/hardware, all hardware disabled. When I do a backup-database from the web-interface and then do a restore with the same database using the webinterface, Domoticz crashes with a Fatal Signal 6:...

Re: Problem log missing

I think he means that if you write a message to the log from a script, it does not appear in the log. I have this on the latest stable, from both Lua and Blockly scripts. I still have this problem, even with the latest beta. It seems not to be possible any more to write a message to the logfile fro...

Shouldn't that by an "ON"??? Have you perhaps set it as a "push off" button?
Try type "doorbell" or on/of or "push on" switch to see if that helps.

Re: Doorbells!!!

You don't have to learn another code to your doorbell receiver, as it works fine on the doorbell sender. You only need to learn Domoticz with the code from the doorbell sender. If it can detect it, it should be able to send out exactly the same code. Just make sure that sending actually works fine b...

Re: Doorbells!!!

I have a KlikAanKlikUit doorbell-chime which works both by using the doorbell which sends the 433Mhz signal, or with Domoticz sending that signal. Only thing I had to do is learn the doorbell in Domoticz, which you have done because it you can see the status in Domoticz. However for this to work in ...

Re: Is there any easy way to use timers with conditions?

You can use a dummy switch which is set on/of at e.g. 16:00 hours.
Then with blocky or LUA you can check (on "device changed" only) when the dummy switch is activated if the temperature is over 15 degrees to activate the main switch.

Re: Danfoss Popp Radiator Thermostat

Hi, I just bought 2 Popp thermostats and they seem to work fine with Domoticz. The only thing is that they measure the temperature on the thermostats which is usually too high, once it starts heating. Now you can of course set an offset in Domoticz at any temperature sensor, so also for the Pop temp...
