Re: MyDomoticz - Testers wanted!

Is there some reason why the incorrect URL is given for the MyDomoticz service in the Wiki pages? It gives https://my.domoticz.com/ as the URL in at least two places instead of http://mydomoticz.com/ (using my.domoticz.com gives a "site not found" warning, and using https://mydomoticz.com gives a se...

Re: Outdoor wall plug for low temps?

Just a word of warning... I've had two of these Z-wave.me plugs, and they've both failed on me after a couple of years. They're no longer available from the Dutch retailer I bought them from, and when I asked why, I was told because the failure rate was too high on them.

Re: Notifications and Pushalot servicies for windows 10

Pushalot.com has not been reachable for the past week, and the service seems to have stopped working. I assume that this means it's curtains for Pushalot.

Re: Notifications and Pushalot servicies for windows 10

My Pushalot app stopped working this morning, and the Pushalot.com website seems to have disappeared. I suspect that this is the end of Pushalot. A pity.

Re: Controller Insists Node is Dead, When it Isn't?...

This is getting ludicrous. I've now reset the Aeotec USB controller, and rebuilt the network. Now both the new Fibaro FGS-212 relay switches are being reported as dead - and the product ID and type are being reported as 0, so they are also not being recognised in Domoticz. I'm rapidly losing confide...

Controller Insists Node is Dead, When it Isn't?...

This is driving me mad. I have a new Fibaro FGS-212 Relay Switch that has been operating normally for a month. In the last few days, it's showing up as a dead node. The Aeotec Zwave stick is reporting that it has received a dead node notification from it. The annoying thing is that the switch is sti...

Re: Zwave Control Panel Now Showing 3 Unknown Devices

Things are not improving much. I'm still getting nodes randomly set to being dead. If I restart Domoticz completely, then sometimes the nodes become alive again, and sometimes not. Something is definitely wrong here, and I'm not convinced that it is being caused by poor Zwave reception. As I've said...

Er, you can control this directly from within Domoticz:

Re: Zwave Control Panel Now Showing 3 Unknown Devices

@Domosapiens, thanks for the suggestions. I'm still getting some timeouts, but they are from nodes out in the garden and outbuildings. I'll keep experimenting with different cables and positions. I see that the Aeotec Zstick has a setting to enable a nightly Heal Network at 04:00. Is it worth turnin...

Re: Zwave Control Panel Now Showing 3 Unknown Devices

So, I've almost got a fully-working system again (thanks to Domosapiens), but there's one problem that still remains at the moment. I've had to exclude and then re-include all the nodes that were marked as dead - but one node (node ID 025, previously 014) refuses to come alive. It's been excluded an...

Re: Zwave Control Panel Now Showing 3 Unknown Devices

Still battling Z-Wave here. Each time I try different cables or positions and recreate the zwcfg file, I'm getting timeout errors - and more and more of my devices are now being marked as dead. Is there no easy way to unmark them? Or must I go through the process of excluding the node and then re-in...

Re: Zwave Control Panel Now Showing 3 Unknown Devices

Ah - sorry for my misunderstanding about "disable", here's the result of following your instructions properly... The homemade ZME_064381 xml file has long since been deleted. The current entry is from the OpenZWave library (it was added a year ago). The stick is sitting on a windowsill (plugged into...

Re: Zwave Control Panel Now Showing 3 Unknown Devices

@Domosapiens, thanks. I tried following the instructions, but things didn't seem to happen as expected... 1. I opened the log window in Domoticz 2. I disabled the stick - by removing it from the USB connector - is this what you meant? 3. I backed up and removed the zwcfg_0blabla.xml file. 4. I plugg...

@Domosapiens wrote: "How can you expect help if you don't tell what type of devices it are?" Look, I'm sorry if I've offended you, but much of the working of Domoticz remains a complete mystery to me, and I often don't know what is useful information to provide to aid in diagnosing issues. Here's a ...

Re: Zwave Control Panel Now Showing 3 Unknown Devices

@Domosapiens - thanks, that seems to have done the trick. The switches are now all working, but I notice that the network information table looks odd. I can't add Group information to any of the three switches (the top three 20, 21 and 22 in the screenshot), and Group information seems to be missing...

Zwave Control Panel Now Showing 3 Unknown Devices

Woke up this morning to find problems with my Domoticz system. Three devices which were known yesterday (an Aeotec Smart Switch 6 and two Fibaro FGS 212 relay switches) are now showing up in the Openzwave control panel as unknown, and only as listening nodes. Domoticz still has them in its list, but...
