Re: Blockly examples

Regarding the 10 seconds... that's why I said you'd better not use the time ([..:..])block for that to prevent unforseen reactions.
When you set your event to 'Device', it'll only trigger on a device change on devices in the if-statement(s), 'Time' will trigger every minute, link

Re: Blockly examples

This is my first step learning more about blockly and I started with this simple example: Domo01.jpg R02 turned on correctly when P02 was switched on, but R02 did not switched of after 1 minute. Exchanging both switches does not work ether. What went wrong? First of all I'd use the single digit blo...

Re: Events: Blockly examples

My first heating scenario. I am afraid I will need to dig into LUA... blocky_heating_19.jpg Hey there I saw a post from you from 2013 where you showed a blockly if else-action. What i found surprising is that your AND components were vertical in stead of horizontal So it was: ANS variabel1 in stead...

Re: Always on after some time

the '[[On] For [x] minutes]' blockly does exactly what it says. It turns a switch on for x minutes regardless the switch's state. If the switch was off at the moment of triggering, it turns on and returns to off after the x minutes. Was it on at the moment of triggering... guess what happens... ;). ...

Re: IDX Conflict: Switches and User Variable

Hello, I can't put quote. The variable name is selected from a pull list. However, is is the only variable where I have an issue. The same block structure work fine fine with other user variables ... Best regards, Catalin... Have you even tried my suggestion? You can't turn a user variable on or of...

Re: IDX Conflict: Switches and User Variable

How can I check ? Here is my Alarm Script. Please note that my switch is a blind switch. However in the Blockly I set a Variable not a Blind Switch... I think you'll have to use the block with quotes for the uservariable, so you'll get: If [[[Alarm] = [On]] Do [Set [var A-F [Alarm_Active]] = ["On"]...

You'll probably have to use 'Open'/'Closed' in the If statement and 'On'/'Off' in the Do section

Re: Blockly examples

I do not understand why my script does not work, i guess something goes wrong with the nested or function. What I want is: If one of the four devices pings, and it is sunset (now i specified a specific time for testing), I want to turn on the four lights. Does someone understand what is happening? ...

Re: Blockly examples

that is possible using blockly by adding a variable so that you'll get something like:
If [Brama Anita] = [Open] and [Time > [21:00]] and [variable] = [0]
Do [Set [variable] = [1]]
[Send notification...]
[Set [variable] = [0] After [900] seconds]

Re: Blockly examples

I'm using the variables to switch instantly and prevent retriggering. If I won't be using the variables but the switch itself like 'if [Time = [Sunset]] and [TEST lamp 1] = [Off]', it would be triggering every minute because the light is still off the next minute and perhaps the next 19 minutes.

Re: Blockly examples

I'm pretty new to Domoticz and trying to accomplish something that should be fairly simple in my mind with Blocky but for the life of me I can't figure it out. The idea is that at sunset I want to enable some lights for a duration of 4 hours but I want to randomly start them within 20 minutes. It s...

Re: Blockly examples

Firedetection & open shutters This seems to be working. Smoke_detection_Open_Shutter.png I don't think this will work because you have to specify the status of every smoke detector/switch, Blockly won't allow it like the way you did. It should be: If [Rookmelder Hal] = [On] or [Rookmelder Overloop]...

@tozzke: This sounds like a good option. But when is the off action field triggert? Because you cannot close a scene only start a scene when clicking the power button of the scene.
Just create group instead of a scene.
what he says ^^ :)

Re: How to end endless while loop?

I've also got some scripts (which take a very long time to run) which I run by pressing a group (or switch). To run, I've added the the first scripts to the on action field and the second script to the off action field: #!/bin/bash bash -c "<PATH\YOUR ENDLESS SCRIPT>.sh" & #!/bin/bash killall <YOUR ...

Re: Bathroom light on for a specific amount of time

You should change to the other If-block (with the blue icon on top) and add a variable like so: https://i.imgur.com/f3yp3Pf.png In this case the 'Else if' turns the switch off again, but turning it off with this blockly results in the cancellation of the timed off from the first 'If' statement. The ...
