Re: ESP EASY sending and receiving data

I am not sure what you are asking here. There are 2 steps to take: 1. Configure the ESPEASY setup to retrieve the appropriate value by configuring the correct standard device in the ESPEASY Device tab. 2. Only when step 1 is working and showing a value you can configure it to also send this value to...

Re: ESP EASY sending and receiving data

That screen capture is the domoticz server setup. You simply fill in the ip address of your domoticz server in the "controller ip" field and only the UserId & Password when required by domoticz. Then go into the device configuration and fill in the IDX of the Sensor/Device which you can find in domo...

Re: ESP EASY sending and receiving data

It is pretty easy as ESPEASY has the option to define the Domoticz server under controllers and then often you have the option to configure the IDX to which the value need to be send to in the Device config itself. In case the standard way doesn't work you can always work with events in ESPEASY and ...

Re: There is no device with that name or id for not used devices

There has to be a device for the event system to trigger. This was indeed different in past versions where the eventsystem would trigger for each known device.

Not sure what happens in the eventsystem when you put a $ Infront of the device name an snake it hidden.

Re: [another one solved] email notification when a user disarmed the alarm

This is now the function i have in my general lua library file. It also limits the retrieval period of the log records to the last 15 seconds: http = require "socket.http"; socket = require "socket"; https = require "ssl.https"; json = require "JSON"; -- Get information from the last 15 seconds of l...

Re: [Solved] Read loglines with json command skip Status logs

Just had a though to also check what the domoticz webpage does for log retrieval and that sends this url to retrieve all statussus in one go:

Code: Select all

/json.htm?type=command&param=getlog&lastlogtime=0&loglevel=268435455

Re: [Solved] Read loglines with json command skip Status logs

Can you please check what the return is on your prod system if you add the &loglevel (I do not have versions before V3.8153 As mentioned in the other thread: There was no change in the result returned when I added it to the url on V3.8153 so we should be able to safely add it to the function and it...

Re: [another one solved] email notification when a user disarmed the alarm

I have added it to the earlier posted code as the older domoticz version simply ignores it and it's required for the latest versions.

Re: [another one solved] email notification when a user disarmed the alarm

I am still running on version V3.8793 on the systems I worked with. That is returneing both Level 1 & 2 messages with the getlog JSON request. Checked now also an other domoticz setup for development which is running on V3.9625 and there it defaults to level 1 only. You can change this to get level ...

Re: Read loglines with json command skip Status logs

Looks like it defaults to level=1 log messages when the loglevel isn't provided.
Adding the loglevel allows for other messages to be retrieved like 2 for status messages:

Code: Select all

http://192.168.0.??:8080/json.htm?type=command&param=getlog&loglevel=2

Re: email notification when a user disarmed the alarm

You're welcome. :D
I've played a little more with the code and it is working pretty fast so no issues using it in the Event system thus far
I did set the domoticzurl to the below assuming it needs to stay on the same server:

Code: Select all

DOMO_url = "http:///127.0.0.1:8080"

Re: email notification when a user disarmed the alarm

That means you are missing some LUA libraries. :)
I have them installed as described in the DTGBOT wiki: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Remote_Co ... _Libraries

Re: email notification when a user disarmed the alarm

This Lua script is triggered by every device change on the system. In dzVents it would only be triggered when the specific device will trigger it. This Lua script will stay alive until the system returned the JSON to script. dzVents use async communication to prevent that. It is my understanding th...

.. but a device trigger that immediately checks the log would likely be able to get the needed information.
That is more or less what the posted example LUA script does. ;)

Re: email notification when a user disarmed the alarm

This is a nice idea to use the JSON call for retrieving the information. This is an example script that would do this in LUA: http = require "socket.http"; socket = require "socket"; https = require "ssl.https"; json = require "JSON"; DOMO_url = "http://192.168.xx.xx:8080" commandArray = {} -- Get i...

Are you using the latest version from the original location?
Have you made any configuration changes by going into the setup menu?

Re: Simple 'on' command

Think I know the issue: The last bit needs to be with a capital O in On: &switchcmd=On

so:
http://<IP ADRESS>:8080/json.htm?type=command&param=switchlight&idx=1&switchcmd=On

Re: Simple 'on' command

Are you sure about IDX 1? You can check the appropriate IDX in the devices tab of open this url to show them all via JSON: http://<IP>:8080/json.htm?type=devices -or- check a specific device via json with url : http://<IP>:8080/json.htm?type=devices&rid=<IDX> ( replace <IP> and <IDX> with appropriat...
