Feature Request:- Remove LMS Players from Setup/Devices tab within Hardware

Wondered if it was possible to allow users to delete LMS players that are in the list to be polled? Half of mine no longer exists and have been removed from Domoticz yet it still Polls for them and as they are not there I end up with a lot of errors in the LMS log. Many Thanks

Re: Remove Logitech Media Server player?

Such a shame that we can't delete from the LMS hardware.. To delete the plugin and reinstall would be a nightmare as I have about 10 players that are all in scripts, using names and IDX numbers. Would take a few hours to put everything right. I'm glad I have found out what is causing the not dispatc...

Re: Pet Friendly PIR

Damn, I just offered £11 and still waiting.

We have motion detectors but the wife has decided she wants cats! So our hallway light keeps coming on when the cats decided to walk to the kitchen lol.

How long did you have to wait for delivery? It’s showing 1 Jan 😱

Thanks for the prompt reply!!

Many Thanks

Re: Generic Denon / Marantz python plugin

Looking at upgrading my Denon to the X4300 as its last years model an going cheaper. I assume this plugin will not work as I think the http stuff has been removed from the 4300 & 6300 amps. I currently control mine using TEL NET and I think thats still working.. I think. Just wondered if anyone on h...

Re: Python plugin: Sony Bravia TV

Still having issues when running apps on Sony Android TV. For some reason Domoticz doesn't get any info from the TV. I have to be watching TV on one of the HDMI channels for it all to work. Is there anyway of me trying to debug for you as I know you don't have an android TV. Most of the time we are ...

Re: Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration

hi - I use Room plans (at people's request, i think from the HA implementation) to control discovery of devices from Domoticz into Alexa. I don't discover the rooms themselves (they have no function other than grouping), only the devices inside them. Is that what you were asking? :) Sort of, So the...

Re: Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration

Not sure what has been said in forum however:- Firstly this is a great implementation. I primarily us Homebridge to control Domoticz. I had a Dot lying about and gave his ago and works great. Also prompted me to change over to HTTPS which I should of done a long time ago. Firstly how does the rooms ...

Writing a Python script to grab the data?!?! I understand the principle however how that would look I have not idea. Also it would ...

Re: Looking to combine several LUA scripts for performance. Ideas?

Thanks for your reply, you obviously took time to compose it. I shall try the script. From memory that script doesn’t actually use the Logitech Controller. I have a virtual dimmer which turns it on/off and changes volume. Unless your talking about how to update it? I could update the device directly...

Re: Looking to combine several LUA scripts for performance. Ideas?

Simple: switch to dzVents. Simple for you, not so for me. I'd love to learn, could you post an example of the 2 two scripts converted to dzVents? I did read you only need to add a bit of code to make it a module.. I have 7 of those scripts (14 in total). Do I add them all to the same dvents script?...

Looking to combine several LUA scripts for performance. Ideas?

As the title says, Looking to get a bit of performance by having less LUA scripts. Quick question about time scripts, does combining them have any performance benefit? The two scripts for each squeezebox player to get volume status/power etc.. One is for device change and one is time. Please see the...

Re: single control script(s) - lua

How well did this work?

Thinking about pass2php however that would take a lot of learning.

I'm looking at consolidating all of my Lua device scripts as its now putting excessive load on the CPU.

Cheers

Re: Python plugin: Sony Bravia TV

hi, has crashing issues on RPi resolved yet? Mine hasn't crashed at all since using it. There was an issue with one of the example .py's in the example folder under plugins (think it's the PIR one). I deleted that anyways and it's been fine and not experienced a single crash. I'm on a raspberry pi ...

No problem, will have a look at it.
Your errors are probably caused by using tabs as indents? Or were there other errors in the log?
I pasted the above in. Most probably the indents. It was error on line errors.
