Re: Script for light to switchOff when TV is on [Solved]

Not sure why I have

Code: Select all

and
   dz.time.matchesRule("between 10 minutes before sunset and 23:00")
planted there. Thought it look good there lol, but shall remove it if it's useless there :)

Thanks

Re: Script for light to switchOff when TV is on [Solved]

That works great. I did read your feedback and your script and modified my own script. Not that I think that my script is better but it's like the first or second script that I write and this way I can learn from my own mistakes instead of copy/paste. Please tell me what you think of my script, can ...

Re: Script for light to switchOff when TV is on [Solved]

Hi Waaren,

What I want to accomplish is:
The light goes on at sunset and off at 23:00.
If the light is on, and the tv is switched on, the light has to go off.
When I turn the tv off, the light has to go on again if it's between sunset and 23:00

Script for light to switchOff when TV is on [Solved]

I'm trying to make a script to turn off a light when tv is switched on. When the tv is switched off the light has to go on again. I'm this far but there is (atleast) one fault at [15:8] '}' expected near 'if'. Not sure what is going wrong local timerString = "every 1 minutes between sunset and 23:00...

Re: Need help with sunscreen script

Can you check what the On / Off equivalent of "Open" is for your sunscreen and report back ? What would also help is to add some log statements. Thx Open = On and Close = Off. The sunscreen isn't responding at all with the script, without the script the screen works as normal. Double checked the ID...

I've made a dummy switch for the sunscreen for testing. The dummy switch turned on this morning but didn't turn off after sunset or because of the UV rule Can you check what the On / Off equivalent of "Open" is for your sunscreen and report back ? What would also help is to add some log statements....

Please update to the latest version. The #forcegeneric option is new and older version of the plugin will treat it as part of the router address (there's no router called 192.168.3.1#forcegeneric, so the plugin fails).
Just updated the plugin and it works good. Thanks!

Re: Python plugin: Presence detection from wireless router

EDIT
Fun fact: the plugin crashed because it tried to tell you how successful it was in finding the command and interfaces to use for detection ... using the Domoticz.Status to write to the log. :?
