Re: Evohome not playing well with Logitech Media Server

Hi Scotty,

Current beta has the timeouts fixed. We actually ended up removing the timeout setting in LMS in the process, because we figured that didn't make much sense for HTTP connections. Let me know if this works out for you.

Re: P1 with 3 phase. Development needed.

These counters were added on November 8, 2018. Not real sure how these could be interesting though. Amperes look to be integer values and you could get more detailed information (i.e. mA) by calculating these values from the phase kW and Volt indicators. The main issue as I see it is that these valu...

Re: Evohome not playing well with Logitech Media Server

Right. That is because I actually made a mistake in that debug line  One other thing: I did not add LMS to my own system, but it looks like the hardware page should show you something of a `mode` dialog for that hardware that apparently allows you to change the timings. You could try add an ad...

Re: Evohome not playing well with Logitech Media Server

You change the startup parameters to include `-loglevel normal, status, error, debug -debuglevel normal`

Just had a quick look at the LMS code. I think debug level logging will in fact show a Curl status 28, which is a timeout and that is due to LMS changing that (global) setting.

Re: Evohome not playing well with Logitech Media Server

Hmmm.... That is a local generated error. Looks like LMS messes with either the routing table or DNS settings. You can zoom into the error by enabling debug level `normal`.

Re: Evohome not playing well with Logitech Media Server

I don't really see the relation with LMS, but yes the http access methods used in 4.9700 don't allow any insight in why the call is failing.

Can you try beta? I've pushed some changes earlier this week that should allow us to see more.

Re: Problem Windows 4.10064 : needs extra DLL

msvcp140.dll is part of the vcredist package for Visual Studio 2015. If this is something that popped up recently it probably means that the build environment for Windows was recently upgraded. I know there were some issues with the automatic build system a while back and this could be a side effect...

Re: P1 Smart Meter populated via API, incorrect readings displayed

I don't think this `actual power` field is really used. Graphs in fact show a calculated value from delta consumption divided by time frame to give you an average usage rather than whatever would be the snapshot usage from that particular moment. Are you certain that your API calls are firing when y...

Re: Remote Proxy IPs

This is a security setting. It defines which addresses are investigated for possible proxy headers that are meant to identify the real origin of the call.

Re: P1 information not coming through with cable splitter

In theory this should work. Both devices will set RTS and then listen to whatever is coming in on their Rx line. The main problem here will be impedance which if not the same for both devices may drop the signal to below the detection level for one of them. A likely factor here is that they had to d...

Re: Evohome error HTTP client error at retrieve user account info

Thanks. Quite frustrating this.... @Patrick Checked with curl. Should work like this: Get your authentication token: uname_enc=<your_email_address> passwd_enc=<your_password> (encode 'special' characters) pdata="installationInfo-Type=application%2Fx-www-form-urlencoded;charset%3Dutf-8" pdata="${pdat...

Re: Evohome error HTTP client error at retrieve user account info

We actually seem to have various causes for the client failing, some of them local and not returning any debug info, and some of them remote with the portal server returning an error. Most of the latter ones appear to be related to account settings, most commonly language for some reason being set t...

Re: Evohome error HTTP client error at retrieve user account info

That one confuses me. Did you have it running with Evohome v1 (with an RFG100) before, or is this your first attempt to add Evohome to Domoticz? Note that your error is in fact not the same. The message you receive implies that you already had a successful login and it also retrieved your user ID fr...

Re: Evohome error HTTP client error at retrieve user account info

Don't have time to verify right now, but you appear to be converting the POST data to json where it is in fact URI parameter type data. You should not use (not encoded) double quotes in the POST data, assignments must be made by using an equal sign instead of a colon and parameters should be separat...

Re: Evohome error HTTP client error at retrieve user account info

Unsure where you found that API key, but the code in Domoticz does in fact use the 0Auth method that Joe Zwack mentioned for logging on. If you want to do manual checking you should use the headers as set in the code rather than fall back to some old method that Honeywell plans to phase out.

Re: Evohome error HTTP client error at retrieve user account info

I'm afraid that means that the problem is most likely local to your machine. Probably related to either curl or ssl not behaving correctly. Are you running a prebuilt version of Domoticz? You may try solve the issue by building it from source.

Re: Evohome error HTTP client error at retrieve user account info

Please enable debug. There's really not enough information in these log lines because internally the client only returns success or failure. The only thing that can be derived from this is that apparently your credentials are good because some of these messages can only be returned after login. That...

Re: No counter T2 for P1 meter energy report

Yes and I would also like to know how the usage is calculated, as I do not understand how that is done from the counter values. Usage is calculated by subtracting the first measurement of the day from the last one. If there are no disturbances this means that you always miss 5 minutes of usage. Yes...
