Re: EVO Home not updating

So effectively you are saying that the data is in fact there and this is a client issue? Did you also clear the browser cache? Renewing the appcache will still reference the browser cache to save on bandwidth while recreating it. If there is anything in there that has an incorrect (newer) timestamp ...

Re: Harmony Hub - Socket Timed Out

The most straight forward method is to run Wireshark on the Domoticz machine, because if you are wired to a switch then this will filter the traffic that does not include you as destination. Theoretically you would not have this restriction when monitoring a wifi adapter, but I'm unsure if you can s...

Re: Harmony Hub - Socket Timed Out

I'm a bit puzzled by that log sequence. The timeout message shown can only be the result from a login attempt, but somehow a lot of the log lines where it should state that it does so are missing. Can you do a wireshark trace of the traffic between your machine and HarmonyHub?

<sigh>
It would help a lot if people would start naming the actual hardware interface they are using.

Re: EVO Home not updating

Still on 9700 base version. So no, not (yet) having the issue.

You're not saying what hardware type though. Domoticz supports four different ways to connect to Evohome. Which one(s) are you using?

Re: P1 Smart Meter: Dismiss incoming - CRC failed a lot

Just a thought.... Could it be the power supply? From raspberry.org : Typically, the model B uses between 700-1000mA depending on what peripherals are connected; the model A can use as little as 500mA with no peripherals attached. The maximum power the Raspberry Pi can use is 1 Amp. If you need to c...

Unsure what version you're looking for, but you can use git checkout to revert to any previous version you like. Example: This will build version 3.9653

Re: P1 Smart Meter: Dismiss incoming - CRC failed a lot

Hmmm.. A fake FTDI maybe? Strange that the issue did not show when you connected it to a bigger machine. Good tip to check the soldering!

Re: P1 Smart Meter: Dismiss incoming - CRC failed a lot

I'm not aware of any issues between ftdi and arm. And yes I do have those both in my live Domoticz system. The datagrams you posted do contain obvious errors though, like here: 1-0:32.7.0(231.0*V( and here: 1-0:1.7.(00."99*oW) The only difference I can think of with the other systems you claim to be...

Re: P1 smart meter does not show current delivery

Not exactly. It is not about Domoticz manipulating the data. The point is that you have two inputs to your home and you're only measuring the one that with respect to your actual usage handles the shortage and/or excess production from the solar installation that is your second input.

Re: Cross-compiling Domoticz?

The problem is that the tarball you downloaded does not contain the git repository and the versioning procedure in cmake falls back to the information in appversion.default. Which is set to display sub version 5876.

Not quite getting the purpose and/or question meant with this topic. I did however see your other post today and you might want to make a note that we're not Microsoft Support calling from Ivory Coast with an Indian accent, so we can't actually look onto your system to figure out ourselves what your...

Re: Problem with RFXtrx433e switching KAKU (COCO) switches

Ok, thank you. Will try that only have no clue how to reset the KAKU switches, they are already some years old. Can only pull them from the plug and when I put them back in you have 5 seconds to learn it a new code from a new remote for as far as I know that is. You can reset a KAKU switch by sendi...

Re: How To Access Older Log

Interestingly it appears that you may not have one. The log file needs to be specified on the command line and there is no default when you omit that.

Re: Website protection and local networks behaviour

That has nothing to do with incorrect security in Domoticz. You configured your firewall wrong by letting it do SNAT (aka Masquerading) where it should only do DNAT.

Re: Question about energy usage

The return is what you are not using. That part never passes your meter. Is it? So it is not possible to see what my solar panels are delivering? Not from reading the P1 datagrams. As explained by @freijn you'll have to combine the data from the inverter to deduce the in house usage. Of topic: I'm ...

Re: Question about energy usage

The return is what you are not using. That part never passes your meter. The "bumps" will likely be because you either used more at that particular time or you did not generate (enough) power part of the 5 minute time frame that every point represents. Of topic: I'm somewhat amazed by graphs posted ...

Re: P1 Electricity Meter values not logged correctly.

Well, that explains your issue then.

Watts? That doesn't make sense. You're looking at 5-minute values, so you would want to be seeing what you used during that 5 minutes rather than a timeless snapshot of the exact moment when the numbers were recorded.
