Re: dzVents new feature: add MQTT feature

With nodered you can use the published events from MQTT by setting the topic to domoticz/out. Then you need a function node to filter what event you like to control. I use extensive Nodered flows to control several devices. Here is a flow to start how you could collect data from MQTT with domoticz/o...

Re: Very precise infrared non touch Temperature sensor less then 17.50 euro

Today I have uploaded a new version of the precise thermometer. Now you can update the thermometer through WiFi over the air (OTA) Also the temperature will be published to an MQTT server to end up in Domoticz. There is a good explaination on MQTT https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/MQTT in the Wiki pages...

Re: Read Temperature from DS18B20 and send to WeatherUnderground

Hello Rowan, I made a temperature sensor that is much more precise then a DS18B20 (it heats up in the sun and gives wrong temperature, did you ever wonder why the temperature meter in your car doesn't show a high temperature in de summer.) It is based on a MLX90614ESF and an ESP 32 all the instructi...

Re: NodeJS Module: node-domoticz-mqtt

Hello Emme, I made the flow so that I can set them in any order. If the RGB was on a setColor from the Domoticz UI then I am able to switch ON or change the color through Node-RED. The moment I switch off with Node-RED I am not able to switch on with node-RED or set the new color, must go back to Do...

Re: domoticz to MQTT topic

Hello Emme, If the topic is added to the object that Domoticz sends out you can't filter just the topic out. In that case you need to make a switch to determine your topic. if domoticz/out/tempsensors you only receive the topic your are subscribed to from your broker. better would be: domoticz/out/s...

Re: NodeJS Module: node-domoticz-mqtt

I am able to switch on a light using node-RED that works perfect however an RGBW strip sometimes switches on and immediately off again. But most of the times is just stays off. The flow I made is working (there is a JSON error you can dismiss "Unexpected token c in JSON at position 0") just change t...

Re: NodeJS Module: node-domoticz-mqtt

I made some flows in Node-RED to recieve sensor data (temperature and so) from Domoticz. In node red i only recieve object from domoticz/out There would be a big improvement if Domoticz publishes in the MQTT format like: domoticz/out/switches domoticz/out/sensors domoticz/out/uservars So far I have ...

Re: Trigger LWRF device via MQTT

I have been working on MQTT and node-red for my domoticz. Found out is almost impossible to send a domoticz/in command from node-red. After some trying I was able to get the data out and can update some uservariables (that i used in timed scripts) I can export the flows if someone is interested. tim...

Re: Using Telegram Bot to Send Photos with Curl

Jos,

At this moment I use multiple curls. However I like it bundled better.
When my doorbell rings I get 3 pictures all separate.

But bundled like this looks so much better in the App (this is not outside my house)

Re: notifications to chromecast

@Freijn,

How did you get the ns.mp3 and the message.mp3 together. I get the following error.

sudo sox -m /tmp/ns.mp3 /tmp/message.mp3 /tmp/message2.mp3

sox FAIL sox: Input files must have the same sample-rate
sox WARN sox: Input files don't have the same # channels

Very precise infrared non touch Temperature sensor less then 17.50 euro

I have made a very precise infra red thermometer.
