Re: Alarm and Heating management

I have schedules within Domoticz to start/stop the heaters (I can also bypass the schedule using the GUI or Android app to force to start/stop). The start/stop commands are then sent to the heaters. When a heater is ON, it is its **own thermostat** which decides actually to heat or not. So, I need ...

Re: Alarm and Heating management

One question: Why you use current sensor for energy measuring for el. heating? Simply use declared power and if heating is on, send this value to Domoticz. If you want be very accurate - measure voltage only, because resistance of heating element is constant - so power variates only with voltage cha...

Re: ESP8266 MQTT switch with local on/off and feedback

ESPeasy works the same way without need scripts in Domoticz and works if Domoticz is down too. Domoticz only sends "events" sunset, sunrise, switch slamp ( for remote control ) etc. Other ESPeasy sends door contact state to first (lamp) ESPeasy This ESPeasy monitors mechanical switch state too, repo...

I suggest DzVents script.
You define only one Timer event and list of devices to apply.

Re: Sending commands to a remote Raspberry Pi

But he asks: "How do I set up Domoticz so that I can send these commands to the Raspberry Pi, and read the responses, within Domoticz rules?" So from Domoticz to Rapsberry. Not how Rapsberry asks Domoticz about certain value or values. First he sends some request from Domoticz to Rapsberry, for whic...

Re: V_VAR1 in latest Domoticz

V_VAR are used only for store specific MySensor node data into Domoticz and read them back from Domoticz.
( When botting MySensors etc, ). You cannot change V_VAR by Domoticz itself.

Re: Sending commands to a remote Raspberry Pi

@philchillbill Can you point to the Json command, which sends FROM Domoticz TO Rapsberry? I think no. Your link is for sending info to Domoticz only. @ rowanbradley Look at LUA or DzVents scripts. It depends on your python program, what it is able receive. You can send http, scripts or os, execute f...

Re: Multi sensor ds18b20 on Tasmota firmware

I do not know Tasmota,

but if you flash ESPeasy firmware, you can send as many temperatures as number of sensors you can connect.

At least with rules.

Re: dzVents - howto get Thermostat value

Here is my way to obtain thermostat setpoint ( and send it to ESPeasy ):

Code: Select all

 	local setpoint = domoticz.devices('Filip_Setpoint')
        local url= 'http://x.x.x.x/control?cmd=event,HeatSetpoint='..(setpoint.state)..''
        print(url)
        domoticz.openURL(url)

Re: Verify if switchOn was successful

Interesting. I do not know about this the same controller double definition. But I mean this way: Domoticz action switch Action on: http://x.x.x.x/control?cmd=event,HeatingOn Action off: http://x.x.x.x/control?cmd=event,HeatingOff and ESPeasy with rules: on HeatingOn do gpio,5,1 SendToHTTP y.y.y.y,8...

Jablotron to Domoticz plugin exist. But only for JA-80 867 Mhz devices. You wrote about 433 MHz JA-63. Open source and hardware router TURRIS OMNIA has built in Domoticz with Jablotron support. Re: Verify if switchOn was successful

In my heating system I am using one switch to perform action( on, off and different modes ), and another only for indication of heating status. First sends http commands like yours. Then EPSeasy sends back to domoticz heating status to second switch. Then you can compare by scripts status of both sw...

Yes, it is capacitors.
Better amplifiers has got relay circuits, which connect and disconnect speakers with little delay after main power off or on.
