Is this actually 4.9700 as it creates some confusion over the beta being a lower revision in my case 3.9629.

I suspect it's 3.9700 in which it's an upgrade for me and includes all the current Beta goodness.
I see you renamed it all 4.9700+ now :)

Re: Where can I get libusb-0.1.so.4 ?

For anyone else using a Vero4k this is down to the type of Architecture detected by the install script, it was detecting Aarch64 and should of been Arm7l. In the end I run the easy method install script, then updated to Beta, then downloading the arm7l beta version and extracted this over the top. I...

Re: Where can I get libusb-0.1.so.4 ?

Did a reinstall of OS and Domoticz via easy option. No longer face it complaining about libusb-0.1.so.4 directly it just won't run. osmc@Vero4K:~/domoticz$ sudo systemctl status domoticz.service * domoticz.service - LSB: Home Automation System Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/domoticz.sh; generated; vend...

Beta to stable

Any idea when the current Beta goes stable as a new release?

There seems to be so many features and little scripts I want to use that rely on having the 'Beta' installed.

I gave up for now trying to get it working, just kept killing Domoticz.

When the beta goes live stable I might look to try again.

Is there a BETA discussion board?

I know I can pick beta within domoticz and upgrade etc but I’m on the latest stable and would like to read through some of the benefits/problems people are having but can’t see a board for it.

Is it closed etc?

Re: Python Plugin: Samsung TV

I think that was a typo to be honest as samsungctl folder was still intact. Didn't realise websocket needed to be in the folder above not samsungctl so running this below has got it working sudo cp -r /usr/local/lib/python3.4/dist-packages/websocket /usr/lib/python3.4/websocket Saying that I sent a ...

It’s a change but not by the original poster.
Didn’t know if had been tweaked for their scenario or bettered overall.

Re: Logout

I'm beginning to think this is because I have "Local Networks (no username/password):" in settings. I use this because I have an app that doesn't play nice with it on. I thought as I was using my external IP to get to site though it would see as coming external, I guess not.

Re: Python Plugin: Samsung TV

Ok managed to get it further... I have it working via the command line but specify a port, in my case 8001 and have to add a timeout option, even 1 works, so... samsungctl -i --host 192.168.1.42 --port 8001 --method websocket --timeout 1 Brings me up a menu from a quick test can send commands. Also ...
