Re: Selling The House,What to do with domoticz now??

I removed everything upon my move. As already mentioned, not all new home owners are interested to pay for these kind of systems.

Re: cheap(er) p1-to-USB cable for smart meter (looking for a ...)

@migwelly I have an iskra am550, provided by Stedin. Yes, it will work. You need to do some modification. You need to solder a 10K resistor (Pull-up resistor ) between 5 V and RXD You also need to invert the signals of the FTDI chip. You need to use FT-Prog for that. If you need help with that, jus...

It's just a magnet, it will work when it's wet. The sensor part however needs to be 'packed' (protected from water)

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?

Changing SSID should not Ean issue on domoticz side.
I've changed SSID and did set a new gateway code in domoticz (don't remember whether that was required). Without impact on domoticz

Re: installation of aeonlabs gen5 z-stick on synology

Hi, I have a Synology 216play, CPU 1.5Ghz, I have everything well installed and works well, but the NAS consumes 100% of the CPU, there are 2 processes called that consume 48% + 36%, is this behavior normal? I work properly domiticz but then it stops working, I think this may be the problem  ...

Re: Dutch Newspaper: poor security for public camera’s. Specific Domoticz-install also vulnerable!

I have a port forwarded in the router, and I use a userid/pw to protect the user interface. When I change the PW, I see that I need to logon with that new pw. But once logged on, I can close/restart the browser without the need to log on. And I don't see a way to logoff... Am I missing something? E...

Re: Dutch Newspaper: poor security for public camera’s. Specific Domoticz-install also vulnerable!

I did not do a port forwarding in my router, thus my domoticz is unavailable from the outside? wrong, when configuring port forwarding, you open up a port from the outside. if not using HTTPS or certificates, everybody can access your domoticz system Huh? How can someone from outside have access wh...

Re: Buienradar Weather Lookup Plugin

First of all: I really like the plugin, I've been using it on my raspberry pi domoticz install

An idea: Is it possible to include this plugin in domoticz itself (no need to get from seperate repository and related steps) ?
It would be easier to use and for more Domoticz users.

Re: FIBARO FGWPE/F Wall Plug status no updated

Thanks for your quick reply! I checked the group association configuration including the definitions shown on mouse over Group 1, 'Retransmit Switch status' , no association Group 2, 'Exceeding power', no association Group 3, 'Lifeline', associated to node 1 This should be ok, right? To be sure I've...

Do you have these devices available in Domoticz? Then you should be able to play a sound using blockly, some instructions on https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara)
Did you see those? Does that help you?

Re: Problems with stable and betas

I experience issues with ZWave, not correctly updating in Domoticz (ZWave control panel is up-to-date however) for Fibaro plug. Too bad I can only (in an easy way) run stable versions because I am running on Synolog nas now. Beta's can have issues (I did not experience many, but it can happen). I've...
