Re: OTGW plugin stops functioning every hour or so

It just disconnects or are you experiencing wdt resets? It say "Nothing received for more than x minutes" (depending on how you set the timeout). If I don't set a timeout, the devices stop being updated after a while. Mmm that I have that as well but in addition I have a WDT reset :*opentherm 4.2.5...

Thanks, but my hardware (NAS) are not compatible with mosquitto yet.
I need to use HTTP communication with Domoticz.
Please Have a look at [http://www.letscontrolit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5246]

Re: Pass2PHP

Thanks for explanation!!! One little question : changing light status will be stored in cache variables. But will they also change in Domoticz? If system crash the cache is gone... Actual change in Domoticz is stored in dB. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk Pro Good question indeed. But don'...

Re: What Full HD Wifi Ip camera's are working in Domoticz

At the moment i used Pi-hole to block all outgoing traffic to some servers in China, if that is the main concern Thanks for clarifying, Good call indeed. :D I had a look at my notes. In that specific case Pi-Hole was configured as DNS blocker for advertisements. Not all traffic went through the Pi-...

Re: Pass2PHP

A well. I've been running Pass2PHP for several years now and it fits my needs, One step on the stairway and the lights switch on instantly. Keep in mind it does require some learning.. like for me PHP and tweaking the webserver (keep an eye on the logs) Thanks for your very detailed answer. From re...

Re: Pass2PHP

Thanks. I go check this as well... I can do everything what we now also can do on dzvents 2.4? From 500-1000ms to less than 100 is a big difference and worth it to try [emoji16] Please correct if I am wrong but what I read in the post with the speed comparison is that the difference from >1000 ms t...

Re: Voltage monitor with ESP8266

Hi, I thought I would post an update, I was able to get rid of the voltage spikes by adding a capacitor to the center of the voltage divider and putting the other leg to the ground of the esp8266 board!. that problem is now all gone. I love it when a problem is that simple to get rid of and gets ri...

how do you configure one to receive and one to send?
Learn the devices on both ;-) rfxcom :D And use is similar way.
I use multiple RF-Link and RFXCom, due to coverage for every floor.

I'm afraid you have to re-learn/configure them. RFXcom and RFLink are completely different devices. I'm not sure if replacing the hardware_id in the database will do the trick.
I agree with @SweetPants, except I did it the other way around.. RFXCOM -> RFLINK

Re: notifications to chromecast

I thought... I had a good idea to move all my IOT stuff to a seperate VLAN. My Google Chromecasts, Google Home , LG Smart TV's you name it. After some modifications it all works. Domoticz can reach the devices and control them, read the status. ... However... what is not working.. Stream2chromecast....

Re: Energy measurement with espeasy and pzem-004t

I started with this pzem-004t as well, but due to some posts regarding it's safety I switched to POW R2, however some nice things to know. To avoid 'spamming' domoticz you could add a virtual device as well.. store the 'on change' values in that device.. and send the data (if changed) to domoticz ev...
