Re: Bose Soundtouch control

I did multiple things so i'm not sure what solved it exactly but here's what I did: I found a similair issue on this site: https://easydomoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=4912&start=20 There they did a pip reinstall or something like that, so I did: sudo -H pip install libsoundtouch sudo -H pip3...

Re: Bose Soundtouch control

Ok, this took me a lot of time in the meanwhile. I'm so happy if it's going to work. I got a almost running situation, but just not that last step. What worked was entering presets from command line terminal. Works fine! What doesn't work is entering this script in a switch in domoticz. Somehow I un...

Re: Bose Soundtouch control

Tried multiple ways.

- selector works from terminal.
- selector gives error in log from domoticz.

From this post (http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16206) it seams to be the issue that it is an python2 script instead of python3.

Hopefully this helps to find solutions.

I pack the created image with WinRAR to zip and then I can later write image back with Etcher without unpacking first.
Is this Etcher program in combination with the smaller ZIP also able to avoid the 8GB is not 8GB issue.

Re: Logical order to use backup image and sd card size

why not just insert the new SD as well and dd from old to new? - DD on MacBook is annoying slow! - I've a MacBook with 1 usb-C slot so I'm stucked with my Windows laptop. So no DD. - My optimal result is a smaller (8GB) image than the (16GB) SD card, so I can buy each (16GB) SD card to avoid the "8...

Re: Logical order to use backup image and sd card size

You can use the option Read Only Allocated Partitions (Gealloceerde Partities Alleen Lezen). This looks exactly as the option I want. I didn't had this option because I used an older version of W32DI. It is new sinds last years version 1.0! Thanks HansieNL! This also answers question of Freijn...

Logical order to use backup image and sd card size

I know this is more a Raspberry question, but I want to post it on this forum because you understand my wish to keep the current installation and collected data. My question: How big is a IMG Win32image backup of a 16GB SDCard containing a restored 8GB image with Win32image, without expansion? Some ...

Somehow open/close needs to be switched with on/off, but conditional states needs to use open/close. Maybe a bug?
So with the answer of remko2000, this seems to be a real issue. Does someone know where to do a bugreport or look up if this is already known?

I had something strange in a similar situation. In the picture you can see my working solution.

KAKU not reacting on RF-link

I have an issue with my KAKU (COCO) lights. (so it is actually not an RFLink issue). Using RFLink I cant switch the lights (any more), with a remote I can, but only when I'm really close to the KAKU (1cm). With that same remote I can switch other lights with no problem, so it's not a strength of sig...

Re: time later then sunrise

I'n not that into dzvents, but you could create a virtual switch (and hide it with a $ starting name.) and let that switch autoswitch when sunrise. So then if $YOURSWITCHNAME is ON then....

how this helps...

Interesting code, because it looks like it has a bit more options than I do. For sake of completeness here's what I did: bought: NODEMCU: https://www.elektor.nl/nodemcu-microcontroller-board-with-esp8266-and-lua CC1101: https://www.ebay.com/itm/381475961886 Sensor: https://www.weerstationkopen.nl/ac...

ESP8266 CC1101 to control ITHO ecofan RFT [WORKING!]

I managed to get a ITHO ecofan RFT being controlled by domoticz. I used the code from klusjesman (see link below) and used the default humidity code from domoticz wiki. I used a ESP8266/nodeMCU and a CC1101, and a humidity sensor of Cresta. This message is just to inform people that this is a workin...

Problem is solved while nothing changed. (except maybe the data retreived from somewhere).
