What sort of updates are those? I mean: what are you doing that uses these HTTP paths?
I use it to link buttons from a selector switch to a device with an HTTP API. Have a look here:

Re: Domoticz version 4.9700 released (Stable)

After upgrade, access path are now html encoded (%20, etc) and they are not working. I must change them manually. @madrian, thanks for the warning, solved a problem for me. I had the same problem in the path of a Selector Switch after update D. to latest version. After update the html encoded path ...

Re: Python Plugin: 433 RF Switches

Do you have any other suggestion then on how to control these Somfy motors? I have seen various projects on Google controlling a Somfy RF remote with an Arduino. And You can control Somfy with specific code for Arduino or Raspberry and a 433Mhz transmitter, have a look on Github. Have a look here f...

Re: SonOff without flashing firmware

UNLESS, you have made a backup BEFORE you flashed the new firmware. I seems that the stock firmware is tied to a specific Sonoff (using MAC address?). I suppose if you backup the entire flash and save it in a secure place you can always flash it back again. BUT i have not tried that, so I can't con...

Re: SonOff without flashing firmware

So flashing the original way via soldering etc. still remains? Yes, removing the stock firmware and replacing it with another one using the serial connection will still work. But then you will lose the original functionality with the Ewelink App, since there's is no way installing a fresh stock fir...

Re: SonOff without flashing firmware

Please note that the mdopp server from this topic uses the same websockets mechanism as SonOTA does. That could mean that if you have a device using the newer stock Sonoff firmware (V1.6.x??) the mdopp software may fail you. mdopp has confirmed that his sofware is also affected by the newer Sonfoff...

Re: SonOff without flashing firmware

I'm currently experimenting with the Python code of the Sonota server. It is designed to replace the Sonoff firmware with the Tasmota firmare, that's not what we want. But if you strip the firmware update part of the code it's also a fully working environment to config and serve Sonoff devices. htt...

Re: SonOff without flashing firmware

I have not given up the dream to "one day" create a Domoticz Python plugin that will combine the functionality of the mdopp local Sonoff server AND the Domticz plugin I recently created. Not yet! I'm currently experimenting with the Python code of the Sonota server. It is designed to replace the Son...

I have noticed the server will stop if I un-power the Sonoff device. There is an error reported. I should probably post an Issue on mdopp's GitHub.

But not today. It's Christmas Day. :)
Reported it today, here :

Re: SonOff without flashing firmware

So I did checkout the beta from command line however never set it to use beta release via the domoticz interface. I did that again and it started working. So now I have 2 confirmed working setups with the plugins. Later the week I will be installing a few more switches. Thanks for reporting back, t...

Re: SonOff without flashing firmware

Some users experience stability issues with Python plugins: https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=20747 @noudje reports that a problem might be in connections: https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=20747#p162769 Following @noudje 's lead I revised the Sonfoff plugin. Re: Stability with Python Plugins

I found out that most of the problems come from plugins using connections! That matches with a problem I encountered this week. A plugin based on the plugin template, doing “almost nothing” has been running without problem for many months. This week I started with a plugin using Http connections an...
