Re: Save scripts to PI

What seemed to have helped is the following.

sudo chown user /var/*

(replace "user" to your actual username)

sudo chmod 755 /var/*

And after that restart your server and try transfer the files again.

just try scp from the command line on the Mac

Looks like scp ~/downloads/file_to_copy.pli [email protected]_pi:~/home/pi/domoticz/target_folder
Also permission denied. Tried root, pi, domoticz as user.

Re: Save scripts to PI

next edit the following file as root:
sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config

find this line:
PermitRootLogin without-password
Next try (after new installation), I see that the above line is not to be found in sshd_config

Re: Save scripts to PI

I see that whenever I log in to the Pi, there is an error message about SSH password that it should be changed. I do that, but the next time the error is back..

Re: Save scripts to PI

Hi. Sorry, but no, I'm not on a Windows computer, but a Mac, so unfortunately this doesn't work :(

Of course the internal editor can be used, esp. for this script, but I really like to have those someplace separate so they don't slow down domoticz when running.

Save scripts to PI

I'm sorry, I might be doing something wrong or maybe I'm not smart enough, but the problem is, that I can't figure out how to save scripts to my Pi. For Synology I always just placed scripts in a temp. folder and then in Terminal I moved it to where I want it to run from. In this case it's a dzVents...

I have this one. This block stays red, whether 'ketel' is on or off. I want it to be red only if it's on. Tried it with the solution for the 'aanwezig' button
