Re: Blockly inadequacies - why?

As a side note, the Aurora theme has blocky import and export functionality. It turns the blockly code into a long text code. Perhaps that can be integrated as well? The idea is that people can more easily share these codes for common automations. Ideally, a page on the Domoticz website could allow ...

It's best to do a forum search before you post.

Have a look at Snips. It's commands go via MQTT.

Search for problem with Blockly's IF statement on the board. It doesn't work properly.

And you've enabled showing the 3 highlighted items? And it's in those 3?

You're doing it correctly.

Are you in compact mode perhaps?

Domoticz as a hotspot

I couldn't find any mention of it on the forum, so I was curious: Has anyone set up their Raspberry Pi as a captive Wifi Hotspot? So you connect to the hotspot you would be shown the Domoticz interface. Is that possible? What's the best way to get there? This is my dream situation: - Create an image...

Re: Aurora theme

The Aurora theme actually has a special mode for getting camera preview images on the dashboard. But that doesn't use the iFrame feature. Instead, you attach a camera to a switch, and then place the switch on the dashboard.

Re: Python plugin: Xiaomi Mi Flower Mate

Thanks Marius! That really seems to confirm that this is a timeout issue, and thus is more about the way that the plugin system works (plugins are not allowed to wait for anything).

Re: machinon theme - (work in progress)

Red text will give you problems if you want to create a dark version of the theme later (and you may want to, because it's better for your eyes at night, and doesn't scream for attention if you use it on a wall tablet).

This pops up from time to time :-)

Also, Home Assistant is going an interesting route with their new lovelace interface, following a new standard for components.

Would it theoretically be possible to turn this into a python plugin? Or to integrate this into Domoticz?

Re: Aurora theme

@Andyf66: Some people (like me) may want to create all-caps titles. Let's just let people decide. @jeanclic: that's possible, but beginners might not get that. The best solution would be to compare the strings by normalising them, but still output the original version. Feel free to hack that in ther...

Re: Aurora theme

I've been tihnking the same thing, so I changed it for you. Titles text case if now up to you.

I cannot easily change the case of merged items however, that is a result of javascript where I have to normalise titles to compare them.

Re: Domoticz says it's running, but webserver is not?

I'm still having a lot of issues. I normally run Domoticz on port 80, but it's not been working lately. When I use GDB (which runs Domoticz on part 8080), I get this LibSSL error: Thread 3 "domoticz" received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. [Switching to Thread 0xb583a430 (LWP 1334)] 0x006a3498 ...

Re: machinon theme - (work in progress)

Looking good! Great work on the settings page. How did you deal with the wildly different and messy html on the other settings pages? (electricity variables for example). I prefer image number 2, but I would mix it with number 3: - In my opinion vertical dots are the best because they are the standa...

If this is about these buttons not fitting inside the items, try looking into CSS flexbox.

Re: Zigbee2MQTT

A driver?

Isn't this already a driver that translates signals to MQTT? So doesn't Domoticz just need to pull in the MQTT messages?
