Re: Watermeter lezen met raspberry en Inductieve NPN sensor

Just create it with the JSON command from the first page of this post. Don't forget to change the IP! I'll write a full guide tomorrow if OK for the authors because everything is spread now... Hi Sammyke007, I followed your feedback for a while and just wanted to say thanks! It’s been a great help!...

Grafana with InfluxDB for Domoticz

you can run it on any device as long as you point the data towards the device on which the database is running and just point Grafana to the dB server

Those two can be on the same server by the way

Re: Watermeter lezen met raspberry en Inductieve NPN sensor

Do you get some sort of error in the log? Looks oke to me. Is the ip included in your system settings network e.g. 127.0.0.*;192.168.*.* of both devices? Executing in browser should be the same as in script. You can use a print for debuging instead of os.execute. I can see the lua script being trig...

Re: Watermeter lezen met raspberry en Inductieve NPN sensor

Hi Louis22, i think i might have the same question. You probably now have all the data on a remote pi? In my case, I can’t get the info to the master Pi through the “master-slave” functionality but am I correct that with using the solution above, this is possible? Thnx! Sent from my iPhone using Ta...

Re: Dashticz - General Discussions

Maybe a dumb question but how does this work as dashticz is used within your local network? Besides the fact that is does not share personal info, I prefer to have my home automation cut off from the outside world as much as possible.

Re: TIP! android tablet on the wall

The probleem might be that the page uses the cache and after a while you might run out of memory, at least this what I experience with my IPad. Reloading the every few minute might solve this I guess.

Re: Some sensors on slave domoticz are not showing up on master

No this has been reported before, and the reason is known. If it's very easy to fix (@tillo), please propose a patch... the main reason is little/big endian incompatibility so we need to send it via a json instead of binary And over the years (yes...) there have been made improvements Maybe a stupi...

Re: Watermeter lezen met raspberry en Inductieve NPN sensor

I removed all crontab and init.d stuff and created a LUA SCRIPT. In my case it's more accurate and runs directly from Domoticz. I had both init.d and LUA active and the LUA is accurate where the init.d script was of sometimes. My LUA Script commandArray = {} -- Water usage -- Retrieve value from wa...

Re: Watermeter lezen met raspberry en Inductieve NPN sensor

The problem with my previous script is that when no water used, the devices shows offline. I fixed this with a keep a live part. When no water detected update with keep a live every 5 minutes, just like the other smart meters in Domoticz. commandArray = {} -- Water usage -- Retrieve value from wate...

Re: Watermeter lezen met raspberry en Inductieve NPN sensor

hi pvangorp, I recently received a new NPN sensor. I tested t with a 9v battery and it works! when I put in on my meter, it doesn't work. I believe th glass is too thick for the sensor to measure anything. is there a solution for this problem? all tests work so I am close to the final step. Thnx in...
