Re: Xiaomi Energy Meter / Switch Plug (Zigbee Version)

The slow updates are a limitation of the Xiaomi API updates. I don't know why the App updates quick but not the API.

In my automation scripts, I allow up to 10 minutes lag time to accommodate.

Re: Xiaomi gateway still not detected after many tries

Try one of the other Domoticz installations (Windows, Raspberry Pi), sure it won't fix the problem but should give you an indication of where the problem originates.

Have you looked at the troubleshooting part of the wiki? Possibly your key has changed but this should show as an error in the logs.

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?

I have a bunch of Xiaomi sensors working fine with the latest Domoticz beta. I just bought a pair of aqara water sensors (https://www.gearbest.com/home-smart-improvements/pp_668897.html) but looks like it is not yet compatible with Domoticz. I see this in the log: 2018-01-12 19:12:58.922 XiaomiGate...

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?

Is my assumption correct that this setup would work for window sensors, temperature sensors and motion detectors? And then lights/switches on the gateway that is added to Domoticz? Yes you are correct, for only reading the values of sensors the 2nd gateway shouldn't need to be added to Domoticz. Th...

I still have the question: it is not possible to get actual temperature from sensors on every 10 minute?
seems to be a limitation of the sensor. the temperature reading can be requested at any time but it will just be the last recorded temp and not the actual temp at time of request.

Does anyone else have issues with contact bounce on the Aqara door/window sensor?
Are you using the newer square Aqara sensors? I have the original sensors on sliding doors and haven't noticed this problem.

is it correct the log says XiaomiGateway: Using 192.168.2.1 for local IP address.
shouldnt it be 192.168.2.3????
Local IP should be the IP that Domoticz is running on, so that is OK. Was it working previously and then stopped? Did you change something on your network configuraiton?

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?

The problem is that: since I added the second smart plugs (connected to the first one) sometimes they do not respond and the lights and sounds of the two Gateway almost never work. Thx Try setting up from scratch on a new system? I've just followed the steps in the wiki on Windows and Raspberry Pi,...
